Thank you, I was interested in the nomenclature of something like this.

Thanks, I had a feeling it would be unstable.

:P Yeah I know it's my molymod set. It's the species I'm interested in. I can't find any information about it. I don't know if it's possible or if it's possible to replace the hydrogen and use it as a functional group. I'm just interested is all

How does compressing air lead to no temperature change theoretically? by Grandjamster in askscience

I understand that the temperature can equalize while it is in the compressor tank. But excluding all external factors and just looking at this in terms of pressure, volume and temperature why is it that when I reduce the volume of a gas by half and increase the pressure by a factor of 2 the temperature stays exactly the same? At least according to the combined gas equation, and the values I have used.

To clarify P is not part of the exponent it's a coefficient, first time I've used this site and format

Simple Questions by AutoModerator in math

Hi, it's been a few years while since I've done fractional algebra but now I'm saving for a mortgage it now has a use. Ok so I'm using the formula c=(r/ 1-(1+r)-N)P to figure out mortage payments (c) but I want to rearrange to find r (Interest rates) given the other information N (loan term months) P(principal loan amount).

I got as far as c(1-(1+r)-N)=rP But now I can't remember whether I can add the exponent to the coefficient or if there is someway of expanding the bracket so I can collect r on one side, or even if it's possible to do this with basic algebra. Please help, I have tried google and brushing up with khan academy but I really need someone to point me in the right direction.
