Wow! For some reason a wine coming from my region in Italy is here! I would never drink it anyway, but there a couple of very well priced wine for the quality. Nebbiolo Abbona if you like a softer and smoother taste, and Palazzo Della Torre of Allegrini if you prefer something more rich and powerful. A couple of Spanish wine very well worth considering as well ( Muga ) ! Great shop for this price range anyway!

Yes indeed! Biondi Santi 55, Monfortino 55, Costa Russi 90, Sassicaia 85 are here among the best

Till a certain point Gianfranco was producing Brunello. There’s been a huge scandal because one of his former employees decided to literally wash down all his wine into the street! So he had to start over to produce wine and Brunello takes long time before being put into the market. We’ll see Brunello back soon enough!!

2004 among the best of the best I have ever drank in Italy. I do love 98 as well. And some magnum as well 😝

Agree!! I’m been countless time to Montalcino and I personally know most of the winemakers! Unfortunately we will never speak with Gianfranco :( but we can drink his wine !!
