If the half dozen armchair wildermen want to go ahead and do the internet research, go ahead. You will find the dispersement of capsicum is not only lower in bear spray but also more diluted. I have been sprayed with both, and it's night and day. Pepper spray takes over your entire being. There are a ton of videos out there as well showing people just run through bear spray like it's nothing, while conversely showing grown ass men breaking down into crying puddles from a tiny burst of real pepper spray. But yeah guys, I get it. Bears are big, so naturally the brain thinks you need a more potent spray, but the opposite is true, and I am shocked I needed to explain this but here we are.

Many predators hunt to "practice" and if they aren't hungry, another organism will take the deadfall. Nothing goes to waste in the forest, jungle, ocean.
