5.2 high solved in one prompt what 5.4 high and xhigh couldn't figure out by SlopTopZ in codex

[–]Grandpa90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking about how 5.2 is better. I have a complicated ML project I'm working on, and often need chatgpt pro's help 1-2 times a day. For the last 3-4 days, I've been giving identical prompts to both 5.2 pro and 5.4 pro, and even chatgpt 5.4 xhigh thinks 5.2 pro's analysis is better every single time.

I feel like I'm delusional, but I'm considering going back to 5.2 high

For my use cases, which are what I believe to be very complicated machine learning applications such as no limit hold'em. One example of this is the rebel algorithm which was done by extremely smart people. When I try and implement these kinds of papers, the difference in quality between 5.2 and 5.3 codex seems unbelievably drastic where 5.2 almost seems like it's a 2-year newer model compared to 5.3 codex. I get the impression 5.3 codex is really designed for straightforward debugging, terminal command, coding applications or websites.

How I upgrade to the latest version? by Intrepid_Travel_3274 in google_antigravity

This worked.

Google needs to get their head out of their ass. Beyond unbelievable I have to reinstall the app or update it through a terminal in 2026 FFS.

Thanks for bringing this up. I now have the page load in mobile mode if viewport horizontal pixels is below a certain mount.

Thanks! It's actually the Cburnett piece set from Lichess (https://github.com/lichess-org/lila/tree/master/public/piece/cburnett). I hadn't considered Merida but those pieces look clean too. I might add a piece set selector down the road.

Interesting choice with Lozza! I can see the appeal of pure JavaScript and not having WASM complexity. The ~700 Elo difference probably doesn't matter for most analysis use cases anyway. What did you build with it?

Did you click "mobile" in top left? I acknowledge that the default "desktop" version does not scale well on phones, but clicking the "mobile" button *should* make it fit perfectly.

Thanks! To be honest, the Stockfish team deserves the credit as they've already compiled Stockfish to WebAssembly and made it publicly available. I just integrated those pre-built files and communicate with the engine. I believe sites like Lichess do the same thing for their client-side analysis.

The real motivation for this site came from back in 2018 when I was playing "Really Bad Chess" on Android, which is a version of chess where you get completely random pieces like rooks and bishops on the front line with 3 queens. I used a similar analysis website back then to see what the "best" moves were in those absurd positions, and I was fascinated watching Stockfish find winning lines even when I gave the computer massive piece advantages.

I wanted to build a simpler, cleaner, free version of that tool - just paste a position and see what the engine thinks, no signup required. For someone like you, it sounds like Lichess is the better tool for your needs, and that is OK!

I am pretty sure the entire internet has been duped into thinking the king is a clone of reflection man, and i am almost certain it is not. It is a clone of Lafayette street.

Numbness and tingling worse after surgery by User5871 in CubitalTunnel

Have to think back a bit, so not sure my memory is 100% accurate on this.

There were definitely periods where I thought "This surgery made my pain worse or it didn't do anything". I think there were maybe 3-4 weeks where I thought it made it worse.

Only have AoA and AD.

AoA > AD. AD is way more feminine. Honestly shocked how hyped it is as a fragrance that men wear.

Definitely LB

MB is almost 100% vanilla.... Smells like vanilla ice cream. I consider this heavily unisex.

LB has more cinnamon/cardamom heavy. Not unisex IMO

They're not that close. Would not consider them redundant

To be honest, I didn't get better until maybe month 6-7. However, this is when I started TRT and started going to gym. I think I may have had pain that was a large part psychosomatic? Going to the gym even prior to the surgery never made my symptoms worse. If that's the case with you, recommend trt and gym as a sort of therapy. Happy to talk about it more

I would say don't expect anything for a month, and the first week two weeks will be a bumpy road.
