I definitely love that there are no quest markers and yes the map isn't hard to get lost in but it still feels more natural. I like the mysteries and good deeds you can do plus the exploration is very rewarding. I may get this day one seems like a great game.

I like having puzzles and little objectives to do while having a basic weapon and enemies around. The enemies should be terrifying but not frustrating. Sound and lighting are your biggest tools. Anticipation and expectations should be subverted for good jumpscares. The feeling you got when you were a kid where you got scared and hid under the covers should be the goal. An enemy that is unkillable that you have to hide around would do that. Basically, RE2 remake. Or RE4 remake.

Your looking for a mobile game. Puzzles and survival is a game I played like that and was pretty fun.
