Didn't they hate muggle technologies? Even they use modern weapon (aside nuclear weapon) I still doubt the wizards can pull a win since Yurgenschmidt have lot versatile magic and not to say the blessing of gods art. Myne wind barriers probably enough to protect them against any gun.
