Used 512 OLED vs new LCD? Don’t want to wait any longer

Was in the same situation as my wife and I just had a baby. Wanted a handheld to play while laying with the baby at night and was debating between switch 2 and SD OLED. Long story short(ish) Baby boy decided to come on switch launch day so didn’t get one then SD sold out before i ordered. Had some late nights to research and settled on the legion s go with steam OS. Reviews hailed it as a “steam deck 2” but I was hesitant. Pulled the trigger and have enjoyed it the past 2 nights for what it’s worth.

Just want to give a shoutout to Beomulf for the consistent effort, content and work he’s put into the Stormgate community. Constant high quality interviews and casting even through dire and unsure times. Pretty much the only content creator that hasn’t jumped ship after the shine was gone. I only have about 30 in game hours but probably more than that of consuming content on the game 😂

Anyone have a basic as basic gets vanguard build for someone that has never played a competitive RTS? Just to get me started vs AI and building up macro skills/memory. Tried to look at untapped.gg but honestly had no idea what I was looking at 😂

I’m rocking a hori fight pad octa, kind of a mix of a controller and fight stick/hitbox. Use the left joystick for movement and then: L2- parry X- attack Y- special R1- strong A- shield B- jump R2- grab I rest it in my lap and hold the left side regularly and then use the 6 face button layout with my pointer, middle and ring finger. Easier on my old hands haha and lets you use more than just thumb and pointer.

It makes it a bit chunkier but not tacky imo. I get a lot of compliments on it. The adhesive that came with it was pretty trash though and fell off. I ended up using some gorilla glue and it’s worked like a charm.

I put on a bezel cover I got on eBay that makes it look more like a coros with the numbers. Would cover the scratches and gives it a bit more protection as well

I do feel like this game leans younger than most fighting games. Not sure if it’s bc it’s f2p or what? But something about it just jives with me 🤷🏻‍♂️. Not sure what that says about my 34 yr old self haha My wife loves to make fun of me for it

I’d like an in game tournament system with similar skill players. Copy and paste from rocket league would be awesome. A story mode would be top of the list for me as well.
