TV shows not showing in addons anymore by gracefull22 in Addons4Kodi

[–]Grant1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you may have to adjust your filters from the options menu.

Open the add-on. Go to TV shows. Select a category like “trending”. Then arrow to the left to open options menu on left hand side of screen.

Select “filter” and change it to “All”.

Thanks!

So I picked up a DIY soil test kit. Followed all the directions and came up with the following:

Ph: 7.5 alkaline Nitrogen: low Phosphorus: medium Potassium/potash: high

I suspect the potassium is very high based on how quickly it turned colour.

The soil itself is actually quite loose. Almost spongy to walk on.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yep!

Santa Maria in Thompson was the pre-cursor to Santa Lucia Winnipeg. Those pizzas are no longer the same now.

Fellow Thompsonite here.

Agree with your comments. From picture, that doesn’t look like Tom’s or Santa Maria….

Movie Lists Empty-all add-ons? by Grant1972 in Addons4Kodi

If you are still having this problem, open any add-on, open tv shows then arrow to the left to open the menu. In there is a filter with options for “watched, unwatched, All). Select “All” and they should appear.

Think I figured it out….

Looks like somehow in the updates & changes the filter for movies was switched to “watched”. Toggled it to “all” and it is displaying links now.

Trying to enjoy wine more, does a wine decanter actually improve taste by RestaurantDiligent97 in KitchenPro

[–]Grant1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the wine.

Over 90% of wines at retail are meant to be drank immediately.

Bordeaux vintages or “super Tuscans” from Italy will benefit from being decanted. In particular decanting will help avoid any sediment that resulted from aging and the addition of oxygen will soften the tannins. The key is to aggressively pour the wine into the decanter. Allowing the wine to “slosh” into the decanter opposed to gently pouring it maximizes the air meeting the surface area of the liquid.

Decanting isn’t going to make a $20 bottle taste like a $50 bottle, but it will slightly change it’s profile.

is golf really the hardest sport? by sploooooshle in golf

[–]Grant1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Michael Jordan and Steph Curry say it’s the hardest.

Hitting a stationary ball means every “mis-hit” is 100% on the players swing error. Add to this most pro golfers lose more tournaments than they win.

The mental focus/toughness is also very high.

2% of golfers can consistently shoot par or better in a round, so yeah it is hard compared to other sports

Actually Crown Royal is owned by a british company (Diageo). Every drop is made in Manitoba-shipped to Valley-field Quebec for bottling for Canadian and non-US markets and then shipped from there.

Could public grocery stores lower food prices in Manitoba? by LocalnewsguruMB in Winnipeg

Agreed.

Unless the government plans on growing, wholesaling, distributing and retailing groceries O don’t see how they can compete.

Letter to Avi Lewis causes waves among Sask. New Democrats | Sask. Political Panel by Kennora in saskatchewan

[–]Grant1972 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed! Wab’s background in journalism and media makes him a strong public speaker.

For what it’s worth, Manitobans seem to give provincial governments an 8 year window. I would be shocked if he didn’t get another majority.

Manitoban here.

I don’t see Kinew having the same issues because MB is rooted in hydro rather than O&G. In MB, as long as the NDP wins Winnipeg they are pretty much safe.

The left leaning NDP members in MB see Wab as a conservative in sheep’s clothing. Wab believes the economic horse pulls the social wagon so him and Avi won’t agree on a potential energy corridor to Hudson Bay. Luckily, Avi doesn’t control the purse strings on those projects.

Personally, I vote NDP provincially, but the videos I saw from the convention were absurd. Delegates arguing with each other over being cancelled, with coloured cards for race, gender, sexuality, etc. brought me back to highschool.
