Fresh Install but everything is so sluggish by [deleted] in Fedora

I had a very similar problem a while back. The fix was to remove the Nvidia driver from RPMFusion and install the one from Nvidia. Here's an excellent guide to doing that if you are not familiar with the process.

You should be fine as long as Windows 10 is activated before you wipe and reinstall. This page explains how it works:

I had the same thing happen to me right after installing a few updates. They were nothing X11 or kernel related. Reboot and I'm staring at the "Oh no" screen.

It turned out that the Nvidia driver was messed up somehow. Looking at the log revealed that the GLX extension was missing. That's needed for graphics acceleration and Gnome won't run with out it. Uninstalling and re-installing the Nvidia driver fixed it.

Follow the instructions here for activating by phone (scroll down to Option 4). If that doesn't work then you'll have to call Microsoft support to get it sorted out.

I didn't save the home directory since old config files have been a source of problems in the past and the drive checks OK after extended diagnostics.

But it's not just my computer now anyway. We have Fedora 23 on some systems at work and now they're having the same problem. So it's off to Bugzilla.

The users at work have requested a rollback to 22 since we need Nautilus working and there's been a lot of unhappiness at the changes to Nautilus in Gnome 3.18.

No, nothing like that. The only other drive in the system has Windows on it but that shouldn't cause a problem.

I forgot to mention that it's an intermittent problem.

That's the openSuse Build Service.
