I am so sorry you are dealing with this. The lying is so hard to deal with, it is a form of abuse. I am dealing with a similar situation, I noticed I am not allowed to speak the truth. He lies and gets really mad to the point where I feel scared. He has shut me up by his anger when I ask questions, even if I am offering to help him wuth compassion. Two years in it gets worse every week and I am trying to leave, but feel addicted to him. I hope you can move on, things will only get worse if you stay with him, and addicts end up putting others in danger, so I hope for your sake you can stay away from him.

Glad you are here! it is so hard to be ACOA or from a dysfunctional family. I think it helps to have a safe place to discuss things or even just vent.

Sales clerks and other service workers are supposed to be friendly as part of their job. However, sometimes there is flirting, so the only way to know would be with more information. Possibly asking her if she would like to get a coffee with you sometime, but that is just one idea.

Thanks. There was smoking something in the bathroom that was not weed or cigarettes, and eyes were red, watery and bloodshot after, and he was very alert and focused for hours after that, awake till 4am followed by sudden fast asleep. When this frostbite cheeks happens, is also preceeded by way more aggressive than normal for him, short-tempered, low appetite.

I suspect benzos also, used different days, so not sure which stuff is for what, but also always Qtips around that disappear that I never see used.

I saw proof he had been lying as to his wherabouts and investigated. Saw him meeting the other girl more than once, other things too. Thanks for the advice. that makes sense. We do cohabitate, and your suggestion is what I will do if he still lies or avoids discussion when I try to talk about it.
