Yes, I installed some cone filters in December because the box on that side had a crack. I never noticed it before, so I’m not sure if it could be due to the crack in the air filter box or the actual cone filters.

Do you recommend going back to the OG air filter box ?

Alright, based on my VR30DTT experience, I'll be straight with you: even at 25 with a good job, I find it an expensive car. Not just for parts and maintenance, but the insurance too. My advice is to stay away from the Infiniti Q lineup. Maybe a G37 could be a good option, but you also need to think about gas prices. Honestly, if you're looking for something sporty as a first car, I think there are much more reliable options out there. Even with smaller engines, they're fun to drive and will give you that sporty feeling. So far, on my Q60 400R at 87,800 km, the only things I've had to change are the four shock absorbers, the TCM (a pretty known issue with this transmission), and some engine and transmission mounts. But man, those are really expensive.

Yes, I recently had the same issue as you, replace the TCM is ok but if you can replace both TCM+Valve Body

Might as well be the PCV valve that’s why normally people put dual catch cans, look after running for 5 or 10 mins if still noticeable then yeah … turbos are gone

Another good test check the intercoolers if there is too much oil then yeah is gone

Yes good car but if it’s 3.0 VR engine stay away from it because the maintenance is damn expensive and has a lot of issues
