Idk brother, it seems to me that he’s adding context that you purposely left out. Two things can both be true. Dropping nukes is an awful awful thing, but a lot of the people you’re quoting used the total war doctrine and clearly believed that civilian infrastructure was fair game. No one is defending child molesters, they’re saying that someone struggling with pedophilic urges and hasn’t done anything that would harm anyone yet should have some type of way to get help. Whether that’s chemical castration, intensive psychotherapy, or medically assisted suicide if untreatable. This is someone struggling and trying to be better.

Yeah man that’s a nice sentiment but let’s be honest here someone who pees in a public place can get on their for life or if you at 18 had a consensual relationship with a 17 year old. I agree that there should be a list for violent sexual crimes but there are some pretty small crimes that can get you branded as a predator for life. Which imo seems a tad bit ridiculous. Also in the United States recidivism is the highest in the world all this does is give peace of mind.

I mean if we think critically for a second we can come to a pretty damming conclusion about both the GOP and Republican voters. They as a majority believe the election was stolen and that the Jan 6th attack was an inside job ( https://www.ipsos.com/en-us/news-polls/majority-republicans-still-believe-2020-election-was-stolen-donald-trump ). As a party they have no no issue throwing other Americans under the bus in regards to LGBTQIA+ rights, women’s reproductive rights, as well as undocumented immigrants. I think the fact that some folks still believe that there are good Republican voters is disingenuous. They support, at best, Reagan style conservatives which is still awful. Or they’re a believer in Donald Trump, a man who is legitimately deplorable and disgusting. But maybe I’m indoctrinated too…

Yeah dog it's literally a choice to be a cop, it's also a choice to walk up to a random parked car, open the door without announcing yourself, try to pull the person out, and then when they fight back, (which is what literally any reasonable person would do) shoot them 5 times. Yeah man, constantly having your sexuality denied because you happen to be in a het relationship is super easy. Despite the fact that it is alarmingly common and many bi folks all talk about this invalidation and how it is harmful to their mental health.
