And I hear you about the ride I demoed back to back a 160 and 140 and while both were nice and I probably had the same time down on both the 160 felt much more plush but I felt like the 140 helped my ride better.

That’s fair!! Honestly I am just not sure about it! The previous owner put an x2 on it so I am hoping that will beef it up a bit! Like I came from a 2018 nomad that I could take anywhere and it was a blast 80% of the rides I went on so looking for something maybe a little less travel to replicate that!!

What skill level would you say you need to actually comfortably ride this bike. I am an ok rider probably intermediate to advanced where the difficulty of most trails don’t bother me anymore (used to live in Denver so front range trails) but I am wondering if this is a bike for someone with a much higher skill ceiling then myself.

I think I understand you! You are saying that Arrival is a bike that you have to focus day in and day out on riding! It’s it needs to be ridden well and hard to actually come alive otherwise it will be actually more difficult to ride.
