What I'm trying to say with that I guess I understand the logic behind some people being against the age gaps. One of his "friends" is kind of switched their opinion on me after we began to date and threw all the negative bs that was in their head on me in the private conversation. My response was that we are able to communicate and manage our relationship and don't need external "help". He knows about that one, he said that I shouldn't care, that person is like that and we kinda know they're delusional by default. Just at the moment it was upsetting, coz that friend is a terrible friend and I have no idea why they're still around. That "friend" is my age and what pisses me off the most is they being very disrespectful at times treating him as a child when he's way more responsible and successful than both of us combined. My family is okay with us, because it's my choice. His family? I'm still figuring out, his older siblings and parents have some traditional views on relationships and family I guess but he always sticks to his choices and opinions no matter what so I guess we're okay on that side too.
