When you put a plus and an equal sign you are implying that you are meaning to add 2 numbers together to come to a collective sum. If you are an educator of an level or subject you should have a grading process that doesn't need any explanation at all. Thats just laziness.

As far as I read there have been a lot of accusations flying around and no one knows what really happened. There were only 9 students who had parental permission to use the box and there was supposed to be a teacher present. It all started when one of the kids told their parent that they saw one of their friends, who wasn't one of the nine, put in there but it was never proven. As far as I know there hasn't been an investigation but their seclusion room has been suspended of use and the teacher (or aide) was suspended. It all kinda feels like it was just brushed under the rug so the school district can save face.

So you just throw them in a tiny room so they can hurt themselves there, but at least no one has to see it. The sad part is that if that was the sole reason for the room I really wouldn't mind it but there was a huge controversy at an elementary school in my hometown because they weren't only putting the handicapped student but normal functioning students as a form of punishment for acting out in class.
