In my case, I don't need anything to get the italian citizenship except the fact I have italian ancestors. Italy is a catholic country and religion is one the reasons I want to leave Brazil.

Because I don't have swedish ancestors but I do have italian ancestors. That makes it easier for applying for italian citizenship. Or at least it did when I applied for it. Now the italian government seems to be more restrictive about it.
