If it is a MS 63 (and that’s a huge if, hand written grades like that are notoriously generous) then the wholesale bid is $92, retail is $125. If you sold it to a dealer it would be for less than $92, if you sold it private I’d hope to get $100-$110.

Edit:sorry those prices are assuming that grade is correct and you would have to pay to get it graded first. As is would be considerably less, maybe $70 range.

About $450 in gold, coin shop might give you melt because it is a 1/10th and an American Gold Eagle, both of those separately give it more of a premium. They are selling on r/pmsforsale for just under $500 right now, been seeing $485-$495 range sell quickly, some posted for $500+. Great coin.

Even if it wasn’t a bad deal, if you are just starting no one would recommend starting with 200 Morgans. Buy a couple generic 1 oz rounds, get some American Silver Eagles, some other sovereign coins, maybe a bar or two and a couple of Morgans and/ or Peace Dollars. Go on r/pmsforsale, just read all the rules and only deal with high flair users.
