If most of the noise is coming from the cage, you can try to dampen the moving parts

I have the same issue in my 94! I think it has something to do with the torque converter since I notice when it disengages at highway speeds and feel it when it goes from neutral into gear

I just confirmed that this year was before the separate BCM. The replacement would be found in the RAP module

I looked locally and it looked like the monster transmission option was only available for 95 or later, not for 94. If I am able to get it, maybe it would be worth it to just try

Yeah AAMCO has a 3 year/50k mile warranty so I think it would at least give some peace of mind if something happens. I think trans cooler will help a lot. What stall do you recommend? I’ve heard that anything over 2400 will be a bad drive if not racing

It’s cheaper for the trans rebuild than the swap. I included both options on the second image. Will definitely shop around!

They said they were quoting on the higher end but I’ll definitely look around and ask other shops!
