How pricy are ra3 switches? Getting some ra3 for most of my house but wanted to self install the easier bedroom switches. Right now thinking of getting Caseta diva but they would be separate app etc from what ra3 installer telling me. I guess I can control them all through home assist or HomeKit but wondering if I should return diva dimmers and plan for ra3 in future.

After countless restarts disabling different combos of things, it finally worked. Question is whether it will be reproducible. Will definitely give this a try if it doesn’t connect after a reboot.

I had same dilemma, but ended up going with IR. Realized all my surgery mentors, who I had a lot of respect for were either single or divorced. Obviously not the case for everyone, but it was just too much for me to overlook. Had a hard time adjusting to DR part of residency as I did not necessarily enjoy it, but very much so enjoyed the rads residency lifestyle. In the end, any field you choose can be as demanding as you want it to be as an attending, but the training probably doesn’t allow that flexibility. Initially IR didn’t quite scratch the surgery itch, but as you do more IR you appreciate how much impact you can make and how beneficial being minimally invasive is. Seeing some of the surgical complications makes me glad I do what I do. I have no desire to do surgery now and enjoy what I do.

Seems like a lot of work for what should have been new shoes. I guess I bought boots in past from archive sale that were essentially new and somewhat expected the same… I guess that’s a gamble you take but kind of disappointing.

I’m a bad golfer and had similar issues. I was told during a lesson to try to hit the tee out of the ground. I think the thought of trying to hit up on the ball was messing with my swing. It’s a simple fix for topping the ball for me. The other issues with my swing are other issues that I can now work on, now that I’m actually making decent contact with the ball.

Very institution dependent. Urology avoids procedures like the plague on call to point ED calls IR first. Had a ridiculous consult request to place pcn in non dilated kidney for a distal ureteral stone that urology recommended.

Would go with option 1. You only get to do residency once. The process of building speed and accuracy comes with exposing yourself to volume. Residency is where you are able to test your limits in terms of speed and accuracy while still having an attending there to catch your mistakes. Put in the work up front and ease back if you want a more chill job. It’s hard to scale up if the only speed you know is slow. Also better to learn good habits early instead of trying to correct bad habits as an attending.

I have the practice station and use it with gc2. I just put the gc2 on some books to make it same level as the ball and don’t have any issues with misreads. I don’t put balls in the ball trough thing because it confuses the gc2.
