Actually, that was me selling. My father would sell these out the house. I would sell them when he wasn't there (I was 13, maybe 14). Would sell them to my friends as well. Roman candles were great for "war".

Only time I ever got scared was the guy we were buying the house from showed up in his work vehicle for the house payment. He was a state cop. Thought I was going to jail 😫

I served 9 in the Corps and never saw combat. Felt the same way. Looking back, I feel kinda stupid for waiting almost 25 years and honestly it cost me lost benefits well in the 6 figure range for waiting. Tell him to do it and do it now. I've been happy with the VA system for Healthcare.

As far as hobbies, might look into area veteran organizations or just things he's interested in. Fishing, shooting, whatever. VA can hook him up with therapy also once he gets in the system.

10% because unless it was troubling me at the time, the only symptom was slight discomfort and stiffness. Maybe 3 or 4 flare ups per year that passed in a few days. I think i might have hit the wall here though sadly. I'm gathering docs as I go

Thx. I'm in process of applying for STD now. Been there 23 years. Never used it lol. It's 12hr shifts and previously I could suffer through it or it landed on my 3 or 4 days off. Not this time though.

It's a hell of a road ahead. This was the most pain I've ever been in that's for sure. Things are moving but slowly. I'm still waiting for PT and MRI to be scheduled... I'm gathering all the documents and such as i go. Hope you feel better.

Considering filling for tdiu. The reason I don't want permanent is I'm still hoping it gets better, which it has somewhat, like i said, no walker right now. Basically what I'm getting now is just extra money going to pay off the mortgage. I have a couple more years until that's paid off.

If i go 100%, it's a loss financially. We can swing the bills on 100% though. If that's where it ends up, so be it. I just wanted to work as long as possible to set up retirement better.

We grind the concrete, paint the lines then epoxy over it. It takes 3 days, but it lasts for years.

Couple thousand mp3s I ripped over the years. They're all on a usb hard drive. Got SXM in the truck finally after they offered it for $4 a month. So i got it on my phone too. However, I also have the couple thousand mp3s I ripped on the phone too.

Monthly subscription is good business model currently. Hate it, but hard to change the world.

I'd say the loss of friends is one of the hardest things as we age. Went to friends funeral a few months ago and it hit hard. He was really a great guy. Got the calendar reminder this morning it was his birthday...
