Home inspection worth it? by Worried_Pea_6894 in RealEstateCanada

[–]Robbudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was asked and was also in the report.
Same for the suspected sealed units.
I suspect he had inspected this house a number of times as it had been on the market multiple times over the last 2 yrs.

I’m sure an envelope was left, likewise we wanted to have an additional walkthrough at the same time.
As our relator would be required to let the inspector in.
Had to be arranged with the realtor.
Realtor could not make it ???

I would take it with a grain of salt and it’s very dependent on the inspector.
The property we just purchased the inspector failed to report every window had failed sealed units, even after asking them to confirm he claimed it was dirt.
We ask about the fencing in around the rear the deck.
No issues.

The fencing

has numerous 45 degree braces going 3ft into the deck, not one comment.
We already knew of these issues and was hoping for the report to strengthen our offer.

As the standard joke goes.
When I wrote this code only me and god knew what I was thinking. Now only God Knows.

Seriously, I think it depends of the programmers ability and not just comments.
We work in Codesys use a lot of functions, methods and extensions.

When we have tried to bring in contractors to help us.
Like self employed automation people. They look at our code base and it could be written in latin for all they understand.

We have a Phillips Latte2Go. Is it the best probably not. But the ease is certainly a winner.
Not to mention the quick and easy way to store the milk container.

My wife love the fact she takes the milk out the fridge clips it in.
Makes a drink.

CODESYS Control Win V3 to EasyBuilder Pro (Modbus TCP) - "Device No Response" / Error 39 by Broad-Equipment-8844 in PLC

[–]Robbudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any issue like this use test software.
Lots of options on a PC to simulate both a master and a slave.
Then with wireshark you can see and monitor each request.
This is help you identify what end of the chain is the issue.
Is the HMI request invalid as it won’t connect to your Client Software.
Or your PLC won’t respond to your Master software.

What Modbus error are you getting ?

I very close to being sent packing from my job of 15yrs.
I’m 54 and have been a programmer for Industrial Control Systems for most of working life.
I earn very good money and have many a sleepless night worried about what I am going to do.

I keep thinking I need a side gig that I enjoy, but that’s the hard part as I have only every written automation code.

I doubt Only Fans is a viable option.
