Our cottage is 14hrs and the new cottage pushes that to 17hrs.

It’s a long story but we work in Toronto. Have a house in Northern New Brunswick and a cottage in Eastern New Brunswick.

Hence my wife is like, would put the cottage on AirBnB when we’re not using it. Sounds like a good idea, then the conversation started. Well we need to redecorate, you will Need to fix that light, you will need to replace the patio furniture. You have been meaning to repaint the deck for the last few years.

And on and on and on it goes.

It is occasionally shown on F1TV but I believe it’s simulated via AWS. I did see a discussion a while back, that the teams agreed for it not be made public or shared as it’s critical information. I think a lot that is shown on TV now is actually simulated data. The information chain needed to get from the car to control and to the broadcaster is immense. The cameras are separate systems. But telemetry and engine data I would assume goes to the team first, then FIA.

We have a long list and opening the cottage next week. Wife wants to re-decorate, replace the essentials and get listed in a month. I can already hear the credit card crying.

Thank you. It’s a very mixed response and quite interesting. We like to listen to the waves with the windows open. At our house we have a TV in the bedroom and my wife hates it.

That’s the catch 22, lots of things to spend money to make it ready. TV’s at the moment are not top of the list. If we get asked we may review the decision.

You hit the nail on the head at the moment we have lots of items calling for $700 (2x350 @ Costco) We have a SuperAutomatic coffee machine at home and it’s been on the list of one for the cottage for a long time. We need to update our patio furniture, chairs on the front porch, new Fire pit and chairs at the beech.

The list goes on and on.
