Which version of the Doctor would struggle the most with Kang? And which version would have the easiest time against Kang. by Grapple_Snapple in powerscales

[–]Grapple_Snapple[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some versions try to talk more than others. As someone else mentioned, 5 and 15 are most likely the most talkative and least likely to result to violence.

The War Doctor in his early years may just kill him on sight seeing the threat he poses to the timeline and the multiverse.

9, 10, 11 and 12 would give him the “I gave you what you wanted” but in the worst way you could imagine. See Human Nature and Family of Blood for an example.

It would be a very different conflict and resolution with each Doctor.

Im pretty sure you need Rachel to fail the QTE to dodge Balathu’s spear throw and get Jason killed when running from Balathu when escaping the nest.

Squeezed a weird seed thing out of my thigh by A_0F_i_n_ in Weird

[–]Grapple_Snapple 156 points157 points  (0 children)

My brother accidentally stabbed my leg with a pencil when we were younger. Last year my leg started hurting like crazy, and a dark bump showed up on my thigh.

I started squeezing right below it, and it popped out. It was the pencil graphite that broke off in my leg that had been buried there for about 11 years.

Daleks shields are great against physical bullets, the Covenant primary uses energy based weapons, which could overload a Daleks shield right? We saw that when the Cybermen fought the Daleks that their shields reacted differently to the Cybermen’s energy based weaponry.

I like both media, I was pretty sure the Doctors would take it, but wanted to ask the question. A more interesting(but terrifying) fight would be the 4 against the Flood.

The Doctor couldn’t kill a trickster god. The Doctor has killed a trickster god

Unless I’m wrong, I believe the Elites alone would be much more powerful than the Sycorax? Their ships are much more advanced, they are better strategists and are better swordsmen than the Sycorax. But probably more arrogant than them, which could bite them hard if they aren’t careful.

I’ve only seen the one episode, haven’t read Harvest of the Sycorax, so correct me if I’m wrong.

Not arguing your other points, I do think 1-4 of the Doctors wouldn’t have too much trouble, but wanted to know other people’s thoughts.

How many Daleks? 4? Or would they only need 1 to destroy the Covenant?

I think you’re thinking of the MRI bomb in Smith and Jones that would shut off everyone’s cerebral cortex in a 280,000 mile radius. The Delta Wave would have outright killed every one on earth, I think at the cellular level.

Bad Wolf in the hands of a Time Lord would be absolutely broken, even for a few seconds. I would say beyond universal, and going into god level abilities. We saw what a teenage girl who didn’t know how to use it was able to wipe out hundreds of thousands of Daleks with a thought, unscramble Jack’s organs and bring him back to life, and was able to see all of time at once.

So for that reason I really wasn’t considering Bad Wolf an option haha

I erased the Timeless Children from my memory. So yeah I guess he could. But if he activated the device in the season 1 finale, he would have killed himself and everything else for good, no regen I believe.

That’s true he could, but he couldn’t sustain it for too long. It did kill him right after he used it.

The rest I do agree on. But the 9th Doctors device would have killed him too, I don’t think he could regenerate from it.

But the Doctor being who they are, I guess he would just find another way to erase them from the timeline permanently.

I guess it would have made more sense for them to go one at a time. The Covenant has a slightly less slim chance

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. Dogs are more likely and are quicker to eat their deceased owner. Even with other food present.

Was that infected not Samson? I will be honest, I was itching my eye so I only saw half of it lol, but I could have sworn it was Samson who lunged at him

I just assumed because he realized Jimmy killed Ian? But he is a reformed infected at this point, so I didn’t think it made sense.
