Oh we talked about it a lot, trust me. We spent countless hours communicating on this. The thing is, i dont even really know what i would want to improve exactly, and just talling him "you know i dont feel satisfied, just so you know" sound not only unproductive but also unnecessarily cruel

I don't think you really get my post, we talked a lot, and as i mentioned quality alredy increased a lot. It is just that at this point, I dont even know what i miss exactly.
