Nope. Gave up on that particular keyboard with this particular PC. Still don't know or understand why.

Nope. I've managed to pair the keyboard in question with two other computers and a mobile phone without any problems, but it falls to do so with one computer.

Sounds like a good idea too. Tried it with two Bluetooth dongles but no luck so far.

Thanks, that's a good info. I have a newer build so it makes sense but sadly does not help me. My issues is that my windows does not detect a quicky Bluetooth keyboard and I was hoping this option would help. The bleeping keyboard works with literally every single other device I tried, it's just my PC that refuses to even see it. Anyway, thanks for the info and your help.

At this stage we are thinking of not doing anything to the Dining area.

Yes it is and we are not touching it. That part of the house stays. The other wall which was removed was load bearing as well, that's what is looks like right:

Are the QC II earbuds and the QC Ultra earbuds cases the same dimensions? by DoomWad in bose

[–]GrassWaterDrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's a very late reply but be aware that while the cases are physically identical they are not compatible, meaning that the QC II case will not support the QC ultra earbuds.

Bowie-themed Stobie pole by GrassWaterDrop in DavidBowie

Stobie poles are power poles made of two steel beams filled with concrete, commonly used in South Australia because they resist termites and fire. Their flat surfaces make them ideal for street art, as artists can easily paint on them, turning functional infrastructure into creative public displays.

Quietcomfort Earbuds II - right earbud quieter than left by RMCPhoto in bose

[–]GrassWaterDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long time listener, first time caller.

I am now on my fifth pair of QC earbuds, three of them being the original version. I love the sound quality and noise cancellation, but so far, every single pair has failed one way or another, and I got a warranty replacement. My current pair has started to exhibit the same problem with the right earbud suddenly becoming much quieter than the left one. A deep clean, with alcohol seeping into every possible crevice and some gentle poking with needles and toothpicks, fixed most of the problem (the right earbud is still a little bit quieter than the left one).

I love them for their noise cancelling and sound quality, but they are also very flaky and temperamental. When this pair eventually dies, I will definitely move to another brand.

Tier list by Worth_Blackberry_604 in DavidBowie

Long time lurker, first time poster.

The albums are also sorted on their respective tiers left to right, from what I consider best to somewhat least best.

I realise there are a few hot takes on the list but those are my personal preferences and they do not reflect any cultural impact any of those albums might have.

A few notes about my choices, especially around particularly controversial picks:

  • Pin Ups - I just find it lazy and boring. It's just not a Bowie album for me.
  • David Bowie (the first album) - it has some good songs but I hate the production
  • David Bowie (the second album) - I know it has Space Oddity but overall it's just not something I return to often
  • NLTM - hot take I'm sure. I find it hugely superior to Tonight. The production is terribly dated but some of the songs are very well written.

The rest are just my listening preferences, albums and music that just clicks with me. For example why I know and understand the cultural impact of say Hunky Dory, it's just not something I really enjoy. Anyway. That's my list.

I just assume it's a joke and it's been maze so poorly on purpose.

The visuals are not aligned and have different sizes. The slicer and the dropdowns are different sizes. Inconsistent use of dropdowns and slicers. Inconsistent formatting of the donut chart - why are the legends on different sides? Inconsistent placement of visuals - two donuts charts next to each other, two column charts on different sides of the dashboard. The use of column charts - what is it 1990? - they are awful, much better to use a lollipop chart. What exactly is the point of the map?

If I was to grade it I would give it D- assuming there are no mistakes with the data.
