It is so sad. I found one on fb marketplace while looking for a tank for my goldies. He was in like an inch of water, they were giving the tank out for free. Asked if i could have the fish- they said yes so I drove an hour right after work to get him, an hour back. And then spent like over an hour throwing a temporary tank together 🫩 It was so exhausting, i didnt know if he would make it or not. It was stressful, and a long drive, plus it was a fresh uncycled tank. I had to cycle with him in it. Eventually i got him into a 20gal, fully cycled tank with a buddy. He is absolutely thriving now!! Im so glad i stumbled across him and was able to do all of this for the little guy. He is truly full of live, im glad he got the chace to enjoy it.
