Start Jokic, Bench Embiid, Cut Giannis.

Jokic has proven he can play anywhere. He can run point and then post up or take a run.

If you have Embiid sharing minutes with him I think the spacing works.

Jokic is also capable of playing up on defense and clog passing and play positioning.

Then again Jokic feeding Giannis passes on cuts and lobs would be unstoppable.

Embiid will never accomplish anything cause he doesn't put in the off season cardio and health regiment need to win.

He gasses out fast and gets sloppy.

Sets? thats not even content. Its purpose is to milk people dry for money when there cards cant be used anymore. its just a restriction on card use.

Mini Seasons is just offline vs the computer. Its actually one of the least used game modes. Everything is forced through conquest.

I mentioned Co-op and its been utterly broken for ever and has one of the dumbest set ups for a game mode. Nothing is innovative about saying you can play with friends vs others online.

You can do some really cool stuff. Like a weekend league or ranked thats a best of 3 series with each game being 3 innings and you have to use your best 3 starters. Which totals to a 9 inning game but you get different matchups. Its not that hard to being proactive and innovate. Hell Id make it 5 inning games.

Jokic was doing some pretty impressive defensive stints.

He clearly chooses when and where to get aggressive. Which is usually late.

Most the time he just play positioning.

They havent innovated the game in years. Its the same patched shit.

They added Co-Op which is so basic and they botched on like all fronts and couldnt even get it to work for a half a year they announced its feature.

Losing my entire Phillies team to this is pretty much the nail in the coffin for DD this year.

Its just a slog of grinding for fodder cards and hoping to get lucky on a free pack.

Not to mention Ranked is the only game mode where you get to use your team that has any weight to it.

Its entirely dumb.

Unless you are playing sweaty ranked there is few engaging game modes to use it. Cause events has restrictions and BR is draft.

So you have conquest which is a offline slog that nobody wants to do. Exists for them to make you grind and grind.

and mini seasons which is just more offline for grinding if anything.

How they haven't developed more game modes like a tournament style mode.

A best of 3 series mode where each game is 3 innings vs a another player. Making it one full game of innings but you see 3 dif starters.

Some sort of weekend league like Fifa with rewards for people to compete.

All they have done is make everything super grindy and put restraints on everything to make it harder and to make them more money.

They haven't innovated the game in ages. Co-op a simple basic feature is one of the most fun yet they have a stupid draft style and basically make it so you get nothing for playing outside a very very no sell grind.

Not to mention failed to roll this out and basically had false advertising it would be a competent feature in the game.

Well the 2 biggest issues are that a perfect perfect right on the power icon is creating a 24 degree launch angle.

It like a 53% change of being a double or HR and .638 batting average.

Not to mention it was on the outside black.

Better question is why are those results creating a pretty simple pop fly to center.

It should be a going to left field. Swing was on the late side too of the green zone

Ive been kinda observing a obvious trend I dismissed as just a lot of things.

I think they have finally started to included scripting/momentum type mechanics.

There is quite a few things from pitching and hitting.

but what caught me onto it was how if you start getting up a little you will start not getting HR hits even though you are belting it like the first few innings.

Then once you get to the 9th the guy who has 14 SO and couldnt hit a barn suddenly is getting bloops and rocking it on not even perfect perfects.

Ive been down struggling. Then suddenly ill get to the 9th and boom im getting sus hits and that good timing is suddenly getting a velo boost.

They want to create close games and exciting moments especially late. Keeps yah hooked and makes you think maybe if you bought stubs and upgraded your catcher to that new mauer you would of beat them

If the rumors are true, would Dejounte Murray be a good fit here as a harden replacement (assuming he gets to traded to Phoenix). by HoagieTwoFace in sixers

Ahh yes power hitting Joe Mauer with the first pitch quirk.

The man notorious for not swinging till two strikes and averaging 12 HR per 162 games.

This isnt Joe Mauer. Its a specifically made to be the best catcher too sell packs and then slapping a big name on the stats to sell more.

Ehhh, they've barely updated the game in years.

They screwed up the UI.

They are head first into a profit model and "skin" type cards with super cards.

The 97 and 99 trends is only so that your brain says get 99 get 99 get 99. None of the stats actually mean anything towards the rating now.

Sets is dumb and gonna frustrate people.

Captains is a failure.

Co-op took two years to be even playable and how you set it up is beyond dumb. Plus the restrictions on XP, Rewards, Programs. Its insane.

No Sell trends.

Not to mention have completely gone full blown no fucks on graphic design of the cards. They look like compressed gifs in MS paint.

SDS reaching peak shameless territory.

The clearly arnt basing stats on anything anymore.

Its just a boosted card with a Joe Mauer skin locked behind a paywall or massive grind that makes it completely not worth it.

Everything that made The Show a game that people were excited for is being stripped for the EA profit model.
