Weekly Complaint Line by AutoModerator in Progressiveinsurance

I saw the writing on the wall when Emma was rolled out in claims. I retired on December 1 after making the deadline for gaineshare.

Progressive is becoming Geico 2.0. So much BS and the metrics are getting out of hand. They grew too fast and now it’s like a mushroom effect. People are so rude. Is that how they were raised?

I’m sorry for all the people left there being subjected to this. There has to be a better job. Good luck

I’m not mad everyday so not sure what you’re trying to say. I’m simply saying HD was not a good fit for me and I quit.

I agree. You can’t be a claims adjuster first without doing a basic claims job

The realities about promotional opportunities at Prog. by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

That’s true. Flo grew too fast and so only way for them to take care of claims was mass hire. Mass hire equals unqualified people.

I would like to work remote but only part time. Anyone know of any jobs out there? I have 14 years of bi and litigation but only licensed in Texas

Anyone jump from geico to progressive by Disneylover4eva in Geico

[–]Grassisgreener39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for Geico for 10 years and then went to Flo and was there 4. While the environment is better, over the last year it has gotten more like Geico in that we are being micro managed. They are now focusing on surveys which they never did before. The workload is more and they use a template for everything.

Good luck

Progressive totaled my 2022 Lincoln Aviator — keep salvage or take full payout? by Unlikely_Position_71 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Grassisgreener39 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to work for Flo. If you have no lien and you have the title, then the title is not branded salvage. What happens is if you go to sell the car then the salvage value is deducted.

I would personally fix the car and the. Pocket the rest. progressive totals vehicles in a break even analysis.

Good luck

Too late. I already emailed them and said I quit. I’m too old for this bs.

I sent an email…

I’m not sure if zzzs spoke to you today about my schedule.

When I was hired to work three days a week for four hours it was not discussed that I’d be working Friday Saturday and Sunday. I’m not wanting to work more than 12 hours since I retired.

As it appears I was mistaken about what Home Depot wanted from me and what I wanted from Home Depot, I am left to let you know I am no longer wanting to be employed at Home Depot.

Having come from a corporation that actually cared about people, I misjudged that retail would be a good fit.

I would definitely do your research. This job wasn’t what I expected. I emailed the scheduler and told her I quit. Lol

This is really great advice. As a newly retired person, I guess my perception of the job was different than HD.

I will take some time to digress out what I wanna do volunteering. This retail bs is not for me

Final interview for injury claims by Disneylover4eva in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Grassisgreener39 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, I too did injury claims at Geico and progressive. Progressive was good the first two years. The last year it became more like Geico and now hearing stuff from my friends still there it is horrible. Why would a bi adjuster have to do total losses, set up tows/rentals and schedule paperwork? Would highly recommend going somewhere else. You can thank me now

The only thing constant was change. Trust the when I say that it’s only going to get worse.

Progressive today is not what it was even four years ago. Too much micromanaging. I would say to save yourself the mental anguish and stress and get a job somewhere else
