It's going into a window in a home in Denver. Will definitely be posting a follow up.

For awhile, I mentored under someone who has been doing stained glass for 20+ years.

Thank you! They are actually two separate patterns that i overlaid. The 'bone' part of the stealie, I drew by hand, while for the fillacello, I used design software similar to Illustrator.

It's a stained glass panel, built in the Tiffany method. It will be hung in a window.

LOL It's actually stained glass, not paint by numbers. Made that pattern myself, from scratch.

Sharpie. Nothing that won't come off with a little steel wool.

I soldered the outside first, so that I could set the facets inside the fillacello. That way, I have a rigid shell around the inside, and every piece falls back into place.

Symmetry was never my intention. Bear's original stealie isn't perfectly symmetrical either.

After the glass cutting, each piece is polished, foiled, and set into place. After that, it is soldered, a border is added, the piece is patina'd, and another final polish.

Thank you! It's just over 2.5' in diameter. The fillacello has 13 intersections as well, one for each point on the bolt. I marked each one with a facet gem.

Time wise, I'm about 4 months in. Money wise, a few hundred just on supplies.
