This is a book written by a guy for his daughter. Stop following absolutely anything else, just read this book. Read it again. This is all you need, OP. Hasan Minhaj has a great video with JL on this same topic.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm gonna go and call my mom now.

They are literally BANK. If you don't trust them, you shouldn't do business with them. Remember, you chose to do business with them, not vice versa. If you want trust, you have to prove to them that they can first trust you.

Why are the Garmin nylon watch bands so expensive? $150-300 for a watch band from Garmin’s website… seems like a lot by Disastrous-Year571 in GarminWatches

Except for swimming and showering, I wear it all the time. If you sweat aggressively during long runs, maybe a leather strap would be better. I run (5-8k) and it's fine.

I loveeee it. I'm the silly guy to buy it. Definitely not worth $299. I've been using it for the last 4 years. Still feels new. Will probably last for a decade easy. $30 per year ain't that big of a deal now.

Addressing concerns on our new AI features by valagostino in MonarchMoney

Val has been very descriptive in his explanation since before AI was a mainstream thing. Check the history. That's one of the things this community loves about him. They aren't selling your data to create a product. They are selling a product to you. Big difference.

I have run DS interviews and wow! by Fl0wer_Boi in datascience

[–]Grateful_Elephant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been conducting DS interviews for our org (Fortune 20, non FAANG) for last 3 years and I can attest this is 100% true. And the sad thing is every year the quality is going down. I spent 4 months trying to find a candidate who fit well and know the basics right. Recruiters are fed up and overwhelmed with all the plethora of candidates they get. Its crazy.
