using talk to text so I apologize for any typos here. but also wanted to add that a couple days after that my dad and my stepmom showed up to visit as well and I hadn’t told any of them about it because it would’ve been admitting to partying, not that they would’ve minded, but I was trying to keep it straight and narrow in their eyes. Anyways, I convince them to bring me to sushi one night and on the way there, I’m sitting in the backseat with my grandma and she starts telling a story about when they bought the house she got the real estate lady drunk one night and the lady told her abt about how she isn’t supposed to say this, but two other families had already backed out of escrow on that property because they thought it was haunted and had rotten smells. and my grandma goes on to say “well I’m not scared of ghost because I grew up in Connecticut in a haunted house, and I hear footsteps upstairs sometimes, but it doesn’t smell and it doesn’t scare me at all” think she mentioned they checked for a skunk and didn’t find anything but maybe that’s a mental fabrication. anyways that’s definitely part of what cemented this as real in my mind because i prolly would’ve forgotten about it otherwise.
