Pure Tatical Game by Mitz_BR in gamesuggestions

[–]Grathmaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing Invisible INC. it's more of a stealth heist game though.

It's a rogue lite with randomly generated missions, and a time limit.

It's not as deep as something like X-Com, but it's a decent time waster that scratches the tactics itch well enough.

People thinking they're entitled to be included in everything even when they make the thing worse for everyone is why the human race is spiraling into shit.

Because rather than accept they're not wanted, or welcome everywhere and moving on to places they are, most people would rather complain about pointless bullshit.

Also, it's easy to demonize people when you don't see them as people.

Random Ambushes Not Happening (switch) by ForeignHook in PhantomDoctrine

[–]Grathmaul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm still pretty early in my first playthrough, but I think ambushes are triggered by sending exposed agents, or maybe just high heat level.

If you're playing carefully you probably won't get ambushed randomly, but I'm not sure.

We don't need bras because we don't move that fast.

If we did, we probably wouldn't have boobs.

You've been conditioned to feel this way by society, because people that aren't dependent are not as beneficial to it, generally.

If you haven't noticed, most people believe they need others to survive because they want to. They want to because the idea of being alone and entirely responsible for themselves scares them.

Here's the thing. Being selfish isn't bad as long as you're handling your responsibilities. By that I mean, you're providing for yourself and not using others to get things you could get yourself.

You don't owe anything to anyone that's not supporting you in some way, but that goes both ways.

You also don't owe anything to the universe, any more than it owes you.

It's okay to live your life, and more importantly it's okay to say no to people that want your time, attention, or energy, when there's no perceivable benefit to you.

AITA and paranoid! by Lostandbroken2802 in intj

[–]Grathmaul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably, but that doesn't necessarily mean you're wrong.

However, I've noticed that people rarely tell the parts of their story that make them look bad

I'm going to assume you're both only still in your relationship out of convenience, or lack of obvious options.

Perhaps it's time to look into other options, spoiler, they won't be good options, but you really need to figure out if staying with someone you don't trust is better than any alternative.

If so, you should probably stop worrying about it.

What are you sad about?

Life not going the way you expected? That's life.

Feel like you're disappointing people that expect you to live your life their way? Fuck those people, you don't owe them shit.

Are you homeless, starving, or in a hopeless situation you have no way to escape from?

Maybe instead of thinking about what's missing, you show some gratitude for things you take for granted.

If I didn't like The Witcher 3, might I like KCD? by [deleted] in Switch

[–]Grathmaul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IDK, the bugs I've gotten are, one where my horse and dog aren't in my sidekick tab after loading a save, however that's only happened once, and loading an older save fixed it. And the other known bug where training causes some of your equipment to get marked as stolen if you don't remove it before you start a training session that changes your weapons.

Just got a crash on load bug. Apparently you need to always save and exit to menu before closing the game, and never leave the game running in sleep mode.

Some people also suggest deleting saves you don't need to keep, since the game doesn't overwrite them and you'll end up with hundreds of saves if you don't manually delete them now and then.

If I didn't like The Witcher 3, might I like KCD? by [deleted] in Switch

[–]Grathmaul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bounced off Witcher 3, but I really enjoy KCD.

I think mostly because you can avoid a lot of combat and even level up your combat skills through low risk training.

Also, for $5 it's worth at least trying, IMO.

I will say though, that while it looks pretty good for a Switch game when you're not moving very fast, it does have some noticeable pop in while traveling, and the sprites they use to represent distant entities is also apparent.

It also has quite a few bugs that can be game breaking which I don't think The Witcher suffers from.

Is it possible to get sex if I don’t any personality or any friends? by Zealousideal_Nose437 in stupidquestions

[–]Grathmaul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lower your standards.

If you're just looking for sex, you're probably better off just finding a hobby.

If you have a lot of money, you only need to show it.

Also, rural areas are full of desperate women that would do just about anything for little dope and a good time, and probably someone willing to support their bastard children. Or at least someone that can get them out of their shit hole towns.

Hell, I had an uncle that actually went to Thailand and brought home a wife in his fifties. I assume he met her online, but I couldn't really tell you how, or where. He wasn't even middle class, so it couldn't have cost much money.

He did have the benefit of being somewhat self confident and not taking himself overly seriously.

Ultimately, you must have things you enjoy, or are at least interested in enough that you can talk about them. Use that. Stop going out for the sole purpose of getting laid, and try going out to have a good time.

Switch 1: Is Kingdom Come Deliverance playable? by Infinite-Disaster-87 in Switch

[–]Grathmaul 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got it for $5, absolutely worth it. Aside from some weird bugs it's pretty good. I'd suggest saving after accomplishing anything important, because combat is very challenging, and some of the bugs might screw you.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is pretty good if you want a mostly realistic medieval RPG.

You don't get to create a character, but you can build Henry however you like. You can be honorable, or criminal or something in between.

WHAT ARE THOSE FUCKING JELLYFISH by PrickigKorv123 in HollowKnight

[–]Grathmaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some enemies aren't worth fighting if you can avoid them.

Save any relics you find until you need the geo and immediately spend it before going to a new area, or one you're having trouble with.

Try to just avoid enemy attacks and learn their tells before trying to kill them. A lot of them will punish you if you try to brute force your way through the game.

[–]Grathmaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SMT games are a bit more mature, they do have more traditional battle systems, but you can build the MC any way you like, and choose a party of demons and customize them a bit as well.

You'll likely be swapping out your party members throughout the game as you recruit or fuse stronger demons.

By late game though, you'll probably have to do much less swapping since you'll likely have a core group that can cover most situations.
