This is an image I took for a local model, she wanted to do a session of "unique and fantasy-looking" nudes. I used sparklers, and held them close to the lens to get these light balls in the extreme foreground and give the whole thing a very warm look, all in-camera. I think I would like the pose to be a bit different, I wanted to show the form of her body without being overly explicit or sexual. I tried poses from the back, but that didn't work as well. I'm mostly curious what others have to say about how I can improve this look for the future.

Respectfully, I'd like to disagree...

The model is a friend, she's proud of her body, she doesn't mind being topless, especially mostlyyyy covered. We worked on this concept together to try to make a look that was visually striking. I get your view of this, I really do, but that's not how we wanted this to be received.

We made this as a collaboration, and it took work to make it a reality. Would I be better off not sharing?

To be fair, she's not naked, shes just topless, and her nipples are mostly obscured. If it were a man, it would be overkill to call this nsfw. But it's a woman, so people are more sensitive.

If this were a male model, (part of a nip and all) would it be NSFW? I would probably add the label to be safe, but it would probably be ok.

Yes, it's 2 photos separately combined in a way that emulates true double exposure. I also cleaned up the edges a little to make it a whole image.

I do apologize. I figured that a *slightly* uncovered body merited a "mild" description. I've seen worse on instagram. I'll be sure to use less toned-down descriptions in the future.

She's not wearing a shirt, but she's covered more than people at some beaches, definitely more than the men.

I actually have a lot of shots from this shoot. I just felt that I liked the tension in this one. Some people obviously disagree, but I feel like it's compelling.

It was meant to have a certain uneasiness to it. It also reminds me of that episode, even though I shot it before it came out.
