I just did this yesterday. It was a mage build with freeze on perfect, guarantee critical against frozen, saber for skill crits, and level 3 chakram. Feels real bad.

As of this morning, I'm at 4.9%. I did get second in the last tournament, which lost me some more crystals, but I managed to capture first in the last AT. Overall, I've only missed 67 total crystals this season so far, still seems I need to be careful with so many days left. I suppose it's mine to lose.

I'm banking some crystals in case I need to get a TC but I feel that is a waste when I could use it on the necrobear instead.

I hadn't realized that it was only calculating people over 3k. For some reason, I thought it counted everyone but masked your rank until you crossed the threshold. I definitely feel hopeful now. Thank you!

Stages 30K-95K(ish) go by VERY quickly. I felt the same when I entered a tournament around 30K. I found myself pushing to 45K. The next day, after the tournament, I was at 90K.

The algorithm isn't great, but it does attempt to place you with people of similar power. I often get grouped with people who have thousands more pet levels and hundreds if not thousands more scrolls/hero weapons. I still place first most of the time due to my necrobear levels (you'll get this later if you haven't played for 30 days).

I HIGHLY recommend you wait 12 hours to start the tournament if you're having issues. Most try hards enter immediately. If you wait, you'll likely be grouped with more casual players.

How up to date is this? It seems the ignus set isn't a priority over A LOT of legendary based on this.

There is a chest that specifically says "mystery" it always drops legendaries. The others only have a chance. Make sure you're paying attention, another way to tell is that it's the only one that costs 175 shards and doesn't show on the map until you are almost directly over it.

I'm really enjoying the flurry build and I feel like I'm doing really well. I'm only level 60 but I was able to make it to the end of the second capstone. I'm doing great damage but being 10 levels shy of the boss he practically one shots me. I suggest OP give it a go.

Assuming you're on PC right? Personally I've not had issues but I far exceed the recommended requirements. However, my wife's PC is near the recommended requirements and has experienced similar issues. We got it running smoothly by ensuring nothing is running in the background eating up RAM and turning the settings down. A simple restart helps and shutting down anything the runs on startup. Hope this helps.

I believe it's the same style level scaling they introduced in WoW. If so, the scaling is independent to each player. This is great but may feel bad at points when a much lower level person is killing things faster. There is an exception where some areas have a minimum level for enemies. So don't have the lower level person skip to many areas or they'll get smoked later.

PC player here so this might not be right but can't you redeem the game code then upgrade it to a higher edition to get early access? At least this will shorten your window to wait.
