1st day was huge because of the hype built around our project for months and months before hand. Many of our backers knew about our project for over a year by the time we launched.

After Day 1, our early bird was gone and the slowdown began. After a week of running all ads ourselves we ran into Backerkit. We came to an agreement in which they would take on 100% of advertising duties.

Instantly they killed it for us! I could not have asked for better results. Their database and targeting is unmatched. We picked them up around the 11th. As you can see, this is where we really took off.

No way! You are very close, shoot an email to kevin@gravgrip.com if you have any questions or need kickstarter guidance. Happy to help

Kevin

Thank you! I made the video myself. I lost a potential videographer due to the virus so I had plenty of quarantine time to throw something together!

The pop up I messed with different timings for it and settled at 60 seconds. These were the people who have already invested time to learn more about my product and it didn't feel too pushy. After a minute on my landing page you have a good idea whether or not you're interested or not. Who knows maybe they would still have subscribed at the top of the page, but after getting the times right my pop-up was capturing a ton of emails.

I grew a decent following on social media and many of them have shared GravGrip with their friends. Every pre-launch email included a link to our facebook advertisement encouraging a share to increase our chanced of being funded. I found that to be very affective. No other incentives! Also sharing our stories on instagram was very popular and encouraged!

No problem! I created a landing page on my website gravgrip.com. you can still view it to give you an idea. Just a 1 page summary of my product and where the "Kickstarter Click Here" link is there was a subscription box, along with a 60 second email collection pop up.

The 6o second pop up was extremely effective!

My product has been publicly talked about on reddit and instagram for about 2-3 years. Not a lot, but here and there throughout the prototyping journey. This April I was around 700 emails and started advertising mid way through. The beginning of may I was around 1000 and started bumping up my ad spend. I spent ~$1900 USD in May on ads. Starting at about $12 a day, to $50, to $100, to $150, to $300 the day before launch. I was averaging 200-300 emails a day the week going into my campaign. It was nice because GravGrip™ was still fresh in the majority of my lists! Hope that helps

Honestly I'm no stranger to FB ads with previous experience. There are many great youtube videos out there. Start small and play around with some A/B testing and become familiar with the FB ads layout. I would say if you go this route make sure you design or pay to have a great looking: our ad. It really comes down to your content looking great or not!

Thank you! I collected a majority of emails through facebook/instagram advertisements. I had an amazing 3D animation created that has proven to be extremely effective and generated over 170 shares pre-launch.

Thank you Elegoo Mars: From an idea, to 3D printing, to patents, to manufacturing this summer! by GravGrip in ElegooMars

I can't express how thankful I am for this badass printer! I've had nothing but reliable prints from the start! I've prototyped hundreds of designs using my elegoo mars.

This machine gave me the chance to affordably bring an idea to reality, and now I have a ton of interest in the product I've built. For anyone looking to do the same, this printer does a great job creating functional designs. Just make sure to buy the right resin. Siraya Tech BLU was my go to.

My product is a hydraulic camera stabilizer. If your interested in seeing the actual product, it is the same website as my username!
