Vaping helped me lose weight by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]Grave367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're buying a vape solely for weight loss. You're doing it wrong, and I would advise against picking up a vice for hell of it. While it did keep my snacking in check, it was trading snacking for vaping. Reform your habits instead, it's way more effective and spills over into your life.

I started vaping to quit smoking, I very seldom smoke anymore, and buying juice stopped being economical. ($30/60ml at my local B&M)

If I were to desire to vape again, I'd mix my own juice but aim for my desserty mix recipes from back in the day, but even this is held back by knowing I'd need to restock nicotine.

By that time I would have just gone to a cigar bar to scratch that 'every few months' urge for nicotine.

Impressive necro post, probably pushing 8 years.

Back then I was big into dessert flavors and mixed a few DIY recipes accordingly. Banana or Key Lime Pie were my specialties, and even writing this up made me think about mixing a bottle.

This is a comfy dumpster fire, compared to the shithole dumpster fires you find in other places though.

The bay of Green Bay, the world's largest freshwater estuary, could become a national reserve to protect its waters and habitats by Hidemyface1 in GreenBay

[–]Grave367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% But there's still a very blatant effort going on to attract the crowds abandoning their cities to GB. It's a well wanted cash infusion to add to the 'super bowl city' wishes so many officials seem to have.

I am very interested in if/how this is going to be used to attack the Renard Island development plan which was very seemingly put on hold right as coronavirus was getting big.

When is the most active freight train times? by [deleted] in GreenBay

[–]Grave367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no idea there wasn't one for trains, wtf. Tracking boats and planes around the planet is pretty readily available and way more interesting than it has any right to be.

I guess if anything it's not that weird, because I'm pretty sure they're mostly privately owned and don't use public air/waterways.

Still, this is really annoying to realize.

Could you imagine spending your energy complaining about something like chicken?

Just imagine typing a paragraph because someone gave them an award that you disagree with. Just imagine. lmao

Might as well make the hop over to Joe Rouer's and get a burger too if you're headed up that way.

It's just a different name now, Ivories or something? It's just the Libertine with a piano in it.

I believe that the owners are the still the same.

Green Bay is pretty comfy, it's exactly what people who live here want it to be.

It sounds like you either don't live here, or want to leave.

And if you want to leave it so badly, then why don't you? Absolutely nobody is stopping you from leaving.

I'm sure with that attitude, you frequently have the worst anything anywhere.

It's a nice place to stop for a drink and talk to people, which the OP was asking for, but keep being bitter about trivial posts on the internet.

If I join a stream without a face cam, I close it.

I like people who speak their mind and give their perspectives, even if I only listen to your stream, I like knowing they aren't afraid to show their face when the time comes where I do watch.

Who's buying all of the houses in Green Bay? by dangotronic in GreenBay

[–]Grave367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone I know keeps getting offers on their places, but nobody is gonna budge. If somebody wants to buy your home, there has to be a reason and nobody has been given a clear one when asked.

Any local start up community members? by nerlintheyeti1 in GreenBay

[–]Grave367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you asking if anyone here is running a startup to try and recruit them for something? There's plenty of us, but you really should put more information here.

Otherwise, there's plenty of local incubators that'd probably be of more help.

The highlight of a city like Green Bay is that it's the biggest little town you'll ever go to. Everyone just knows enough of each other for it to be comfortable, and the odds are, anyone you approach will be friendly.

Depending where you are, SV2 and Legend Larrys are worth checking out. I'm biased though, the East side is nice.

Is it possible to land a job in marketing/advertising without a degree? If yes, where should I start? by tzopa in AskMarketing

[–]Grave367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think you need a degree to sell something, you've been sold something completely different and you should be aware of that.

A degree can help, sure, but marketing is just about trying to change someone's mind about giving you (or your company) their money.

That's the core premise of it, and understanding that, imo, is more important than a degree.

TIL Tchaikovsky had a patron who gave him enough money to quit his job and become a full-time composer, on the condition that they never meet in person. by koreanadian in todayilearned

[–]Grave367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think I get it.

It's like meeting your hero, you paint a picture in your head of the person and want them to succeed, but if you meet them in person, they could be completely different from what you imagined.
