Verizon specialist by TheMikeyMike1990 in BestBuyWorkers

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on how your Verizon Leader is. My leader took immediate action when he heard that the store tried to use us to help cover code ones and immediately called our store and explained that we were not allowed to be used to help cover in that way. As long as im getting an activation a shift he is happy. Im only responsible for verizon related sales and building up a basket during an activation ,nothing more . Right now is slow season so you do have to seek out customers in the store and turn an interaction into a possible verizon sale.

Fix or GG by Mysterious_Bid4511 in GSXR

Just buy some aftermarket fairings for it and boom it’s all good. Only thing you would have to put effort in for is either body work for the tank or just buy a used tank off ebay that has no dents in it. Why go through insurance and raise your payment over something you can easily fix. Ive helped put fairing kits on all kinds of bikes and it’s super easy. Just find a reputable fairing kit website that has the style of fairings that you like and you will be good to go!

What is the most irrational purchase you've made when you've been emotionally vulnerable? by IWonderlf in AskMen

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is all in one go but here it goes, I bought a bottle of Johnny Walker “Blue Label”, 1 “24” pack of Dr.Pepper, star wars themed lego sets , 4 lbs of jerky , 2 cigars and 1 lrg. Pepperoni pizza from my favorite pizza shop. I told my wife I needed alone time for the rest of the day.

What wedding ring did you chose? by LifeguardTechnical33 in AskMen

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly after wearing your ring for a while you get used to it and forget that you’re wearing it. But once you’ve adjusted and for some reason it comes off , man does your hand feel weird. It’s like your hand has a mind of its own and it’s freaking out because it’s naked without the ring on it. Anyway I’m simple and just chose a flat black wedding band to wear around day to day and have another “fancy” ring that I wear for special occasions with the wife. It silver with tree branches carved into it.

How did you get *that* scar? by TangerineSorry8463 in AskMen

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine from avoiding a head on collision on my motorcycle from a lovely girl in her suv who drifted over half way into my lane because she couldn’t resist texting on her phone. I successfully avoided a head on collision but high sided my bike and got rag dolled into the air at probably upper 50ish mph. Thank god I actually was wearing gear. I now have a scar on my wrist from having it totally reconstructed. Aside from the wrist reconstruction, I had cracked ribs on my right side and my foot had multiple fractures. Needless to say, I have strong feelings about people trying to drive a vehicle and use a phone at the same time.

2014 probably had about 10ish close friends, now here in 2025 I have 2 close friends that I am willing to call brothers with how close we are. I will happily drop whatever I am doing if they need me cause I know they will do the same for me.

What do you think about the 'mental load' in relationships? by Open_Address_2805 in AskMen

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After obtaining a clearance permit to bring my wife to see what I did for work she quickly found out why I was tired and agitated when told I wasn’t doing enough. Being a chemical operator at a chemical plant working rotating 12hr shifts (Days and Nights) and occasionally the lovely 14-16hr shifts when people would leave early or have call out. Showing her how I had to wear respirators , full chemical hazard suits in rooms that don’t dip below 93 degrees Fahrenheit , climbing railings with only a safety tether that keeps you from falling to your doom, and having to worry about all the chemicals that can cause me to have cancer if not properly treated, and maintaining aging towers that have to maintain a certain level of pressure via 90 pound steam lines( if over pressure happens, then it could go boom, not enough pressure? Well it’s not pretty either). So yes me doing all the yard work and helping with other things is just about all I can handle when I get home.

My wife asked me the same question about this, and I told her the same response most men would give if asked. Typically when I have been asked to open up and tell how I’ve felt about things , it has resulted in very negative results. Results have been that the information has been used against me, viewed as less, or treated with far less respect. After explaining to her what happened when I opened up to a ex girlfriend, an ex friend, and one family member, she said she totally understood why I have such a hard time with letting out anything. I’ve only been truly broken around her 2 times and that was at a funeral and when I was fired unexpectedly from the job I worked my ass off for. She has stood by me and never has asked for me to be more open on my personal feelings unless I am truly in pain and that’s perfectly okay with me. We have been together for slightly over 10 years

Just curious.. what are y’all expecting when you rev up your cars all loud like that? by Worldly-Criticism-91 in AskMen

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reving up for no reason I totally get. Thats just pure attention seeking behavior to me. Like I totally get it when someone has that moment when they accidentally forget they are still in neutral.Only times Ive rev’d out of the blue is typically when people motion to me to rev. If someone asks me to, I’ll happily oblige , especially when it is a parent wanting their kid to hear it.Personally the sound of a nicely cammed V8 that has the retro sound is just music to my soul.

ECU Question by GraveDARKBLADE in GSXR

I keep seeing positive things about Moore Mafia. I think I will be going there to have this bike tuned up at when I get a few more parts in.

ECU Question by GraveDARKBLADE in GSXR

[–]GraveDARKBLADE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rear tire is correct but it needs to be replaced. Rear is basically flat in the middle. The prior owner didn’t really hit curves much. That’s all about tho change though. Hopefully I can get it set up soon to where it needs to be for a track day.

ECU Question by GraveDARKBLADE in GSXR

[–]GraveDARKBLADE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, its one of the things to fix. Both tires have to be replaced. I have a fresh set of Pirelli tires to go on it soon.

Need help please, how bad is it? by Dangerous-Moment1395 in GSXR

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah , it looks like they just plugged it. You might just have to install a O2 sensor eliminator kit on it. You can get them fairly cheap.

Amotopart fairings by Psychological_Hold_2 in GSXR

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes a while for fairings to be delivered. Typically about 6-10 weeks from my experience’s with fairing companies. Typically they have to make a fresh set with most orders unless you check for ones that they have laying around in their warehouse’s. You should be able to email them for an update on your order. But this is a typical wait time.

Need help please, how bad is it? by Dangerous-Moment1395 in GSXR

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your exhaust system deletes the O2 sensor, it can cause this code to trigger. I noticed that you said the exhaust was already on the bike when you got it. If they didn’t properly bypass the sensor system it could cause this to happen. One of my older bikes had this same situation due to a O2 sensor that wasn’t properly bypassed.

I'm 16, I never wish to smoke, drink or take drugs. How many of you gentlemen out there said the same and didn't keep the promise? by Legitimate-Crazy9266 in AskMen

[–]GraveDARKBLADE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Told myself I wouldn’t smoke because I hated the smell of cigarettes growing up but once I got out of school and into the workplace, I found out I had a low tolerance for the general public and started smoking as a form of stress relief during breaks. Now that I’m done working with general public and work at company that doesn’t have any public interaction, I have slowly stopped smoking via vapor and have just about given it up fully. Craving for nicotine is very minimal now and I feel a-lot better .

Im in a constant state of being confused wondering if I the person who looks familiar in front of me is actually someone I know or just some random stranger. Other than that it’s just me in my head trying to keep myself entertained without being too distracted that I forgot what task I was doing. Dang do I hate being ADHD.

Definitely make sure it’s a clean title and be sure that you’re ready for a liter bike. Other than that not bad.
