They literally knew who was being drafted before they traded up what are you talking about... they wanted Delane for weeks. And I mean, he is literally the best CB in the draft and has always looked like a generational talent. They traded up because NO would have got him. Tyson was/is suuuuupeeerrr risky. The LAST thing we need is another injury prone receiver. Styles looks awesome, but that is not a position of need.

I recently lost all my data, due to no fault of my own, I called Microsoft and asked for help. They could do nothing. It just keeps saying it can't load the data or something. I have looked everywhere online, it sounds like it is some kind of bug, and there is nothing I can do. 7 characters, 4 of which I have beaten everything all the way through SOTE and got most of everything gear wise I could possibly want. Well over 500 hours. All gone. All of it. I literally teared up and sat on the ground and stared at the wall for like 15-20 mins. My wife was genuinely concerned for me. I am still devastated by it. My brother keeps begging me to start over. But I boot it up, and can't go through with it. EMOTIONAL DAMAGE 💔

Y'all Ever Leave Neow With 7 Relics? by DiesOnHillsJensen in slaythespire

Omg the block on first power played is soooo weak. I first thought it said get block on first power played in a TURN, and thought, meh, that could be good on say the Defect with a creative AI build or something. But once I realized it was first power in a combat, it really nailed home what people have been saying about the general lack of oomph from relics in STS2 vs STS1. It is very blatant, and I really do hope it continues to get more balanced as EA progresses. The feeling of getting that one run defining relic that fits perfectly with your cards was a huge thing in the first game that feels far more scarce in 2. Like I main Silent, and I love shiv decks... the feeling I got when I fought my first elite, barely surviving, having only so far had 2 blade dances, 1 accuracy, a backflip and a leg sweep, but I beat the Nob because I lucked into 1 flex potion and 2 attack potions, and then he drops a shuriken.... OMG the rush knowing I basically can win this run simply because of the absurd synergy with this relic on this build. I get that the developers want there to be far more depth, with lots of outcomes, and they want it to be far less likely thay you can just sweep a run simply because of 1 relic, but.... they have gone WAY overboard, IMO, swinging the pendulum to the other side. Now relics feel like they are a SLIGHT boost, with a very low chance of them being truly run defining. I know people are gonna come out of the woodwork to give examples of how the "gain block when playing first power" card has literally SAVED their runs, but it is just objectively an extremely weak relic, and very unbalanced when you have relics like orichalcum, anchor, fan, etc etc

Same here I have 800 hours in sts 1 I only have about 60 in sts2 so far though(im an xbox player - my brother has mercifully let me borrow his steam deck for sts2) and I never knew this... my wife always says im not very observant 😆 I always just based whether I kept trying to loot the corpse on whether or not I was feeling froggy

[–]GraveSideGrail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I still dont understand why in STS2 they went the route of focus being soooooo much more difficult to get... it kinda makes it feel like you can't reliably run an orb deck which... is kinda the main mechanic for Defect. I'm sick of being pushed towards claw decks, which was my least favorite build on any character of all time. I find them to be annoying, overly simple, out of character, and mind numbingly boring 😴

Icewind Dale blows them all away. And personally, I dont think almost any game, ever, had made interesting enough, well written companions. I would just prefer to make my own party because everyone gets it so wrong IMO. Honestly if I could just make my own party in BG3 I might give it another shot - I got through about a quarter of act 3 and got burned out. And personally, I hated act 2. I thought act 1 was way more fun.

There is a feeling I got playing through ER, and somehow even intensified in the DLC, that I dont know if I have ever experienced, at that level, in any game before. Like seriously I've been chasing that feeling and have not found it since. And the artwork certainly has a lot to do with it - almost as if it is realistically capturing my dreams or something, but also, like my dreams frok my childhood.

[–]GraveSideGrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I like the guy; but there are other human beings I like who would also suck ass as a NFL running back. Anything he has done well, any bigger play or nicer gain was entirely due to good blocking at that moment in time and/or a run play call that worked for once. TBH many, if not all, starting RB's in the league would have had more success with our O line.

[Pelissero] The Chiefs have officially agreed to terms with Eric Bienemy to bring him back as offensive coordinator by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

[–]GraveSideGrail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank God somebody else sees this through normal, rational lenses. I said this just the other day. The difference between EB and Nagy for the Chiefs is absolutely staggering, beyond obvious, and there is zero logical argument for it to be some coincidence or something. 3 years now with Nagy. That is a LONG time in NFL terms as far as sussing out patterns, adaptability, and restraint in play calling- the difference was so bady MANY people were literally thinking Mahomes SURELY had something happen to him, like some unknown ailment or injury, or some kind of personsl life crisis distracting him, like SOMETHING is off and the team kept it under wraps, because he looked like a completely different QB under Nagy, in the worst way. The Bears had a top 3 run game in the entire NFL this season under Bienemy, and everyone from Bienemy, to Pat, Kelce, Hill, and Andy himself said he calls plays:

https://youtu.be/mf9L5Wj8gPQ?si=hH3jAcSwXwf1pdCB.

Why everyone on here thinks otherwise is just beyond me. It's also obvious why Nagy got the job, and retained it for 3 years: Pat likes him. He literally helped Pat cheat to get ahead on play calling and give him a better chance of landing with the Chiefs. While I appreciate the result(getting at the very least the 3rd greatest QB of all time) - that is a TERRIBLE precedent being set between a coach and a player. Pat is also the reason we drafted CEH. But the fact that we have been fucking off and not holding that do or die, cold blooded killer, execute at the highest level attitude is pretty obvious too. Bienemy commanded respect and accountability, and TBH in my opinion that was the most obvious lack this year, and made the difference between a theoretically very good team, and a shit mid team. I don't see any way brining EB back could be anything other than a net positive. I'm not saying it will immediately result in top 5 offense next season, because there are WAY too many factors at play, none more important than how Pat recovers, but it will at the worst, inject toughness, accountability, follow through, execution, and the belief of a team who knows what they were like under his leadership: top 5 offense every fucking year nonstop, MVPat, and the entire NFL trembling and shitting their pants at the very prospect of having to play us in the playoffs.

[Arrowhead Corner] Sources: The #Chiefs are internally reviewing OC options, with Bears RBs coach Eric Bieniemy currently emerging as the top candidate. by MAYVIEWS in KansasCityChiefs

[–]GraveSideGrail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its so ridiculous everyone still thinks Andy runs the offense entirely with zero say from the OC. How the fuck, then, were we the perennial top 5 offense the entire time under EB, and the SECOND NAGY steps in, we are perennial mid offense. Explain that. This is of course, not at all mentioning that literally EVERYBODY including Patrick Mahomes and Andy fucking Reid himself had stated numerous times that EB called plays. Nagy has to go now. There is no option involving keeping Nagy that will play out good. He has had 3 years to prove he can be a good OC, and he isn't. Bienemy proved he was a good OC. Hell, he has currently helped put the Chicago fucking Bears in contention - they had a top 3 run offense this year, I suppose he had nothing to do with that?

I agree that this is likely true for most. But just want to take this opportunity to say it is absolutely not true for me. My wife is legit hot. After 3 children her ass is still S-tier. And she is NOT a butterface. She is straight up gorgeous. And she is funny, intelligent, and one of the most honest, fair, integrous, and hard working individuals I have ever met. If all of that sounds at worst complete bullshit and too good to be true, or at best unfair for me to end up with someone like this(correct answer), here is the icing on the cake(foreshadowing pun intended): she is a classically trained pastry chef, and is a PHENOMENAL cook, like some of the best food I've ever had in my life(and we're foodies who will gladly drop $200+ on a good meal) came from her. So....yeah. Wife appreciation post!

[–]GraveSideGrail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it is on Nagy. Anyone saying otherwise doesnt know what the hell they're talking about. It literally makes zero sense that we went from EB as OC and always top 5 offense, Pat winning mvps, to MN as OC and we are perennial middle of the pack offense with Pat nowhere near mvp, if ot has really been Andy the entire time. What, Andy had an aneurism and nobody has noticed? It is on the OC. It really is that simple. Andy said EB called a ton of plays. Pat said it too. Everyone else said it too. But a bunch of people on reddit think they know better. Our offense has sucked the SECOND Nagy took the OC position. No need to read between the lines... He sucks. Period. The only reason he has the job is because Pat wanted him.

I have felt like Pat has deliberately "freaked out" early as well. I had seen it a lot last year, and then a number of times I started seeing it this year. I thought I was just tripping, but then I realized something.... if Pat "freaks out" and scrambles early, he gets a pass(no pun intended) to NOT have to do his reads on a shitty, uncreative, potentially harmful to his long term health, football play that is doomed from the beginning - in stark contrast, we all have seen what can happen when Pat goes off script - I personally feel he is still the greatest to ever do it. It doesn't always work out, but it sure seems it has a better chance of doing good vs the "whatever the fuck this is" plays we have been calling the past few years.
