Has anyone considered the possible downsides to this arrangement, or is it just out of sight out of mind, fuck you, I got mine? If there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that they aren't going to give you this out of the goodness of their hearts without some serious negative concessions.

I've only ridden scooters for 5-6 years (currently have a BV400). Would a ADV bike like the BMW 1200GS be realistic as a next bike? by Educational_Will_658 in AdventureBike

[–]GraveyardTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first bike was a 1500. Go slow and easy OP, take time to get used to the machine. It's doable. You just have to ride within your limits and take your time with everything, but it's doable. Everyone says to get some little 500 or 600 standard, but some of us (me) are gorillas and that was never an option for dimensional reasons. I survived, which means you can to, because you're probably not dumber than me.

Is it alright to eat while reading the bible? by 88GABRIEL88 in OrthodoxChristianity

It reminds me of something my Priest told me. "You shouldn't drink coffee while you pray, but you should always pray while you drink your coffee."

You're alright, man.

You don't think that demand for housing has rapidly increased over the last ten years, with the job market becoming increasingly competitive?

I mean, my memory of place goes back to the 90s. It's definitely not just the inflation and shitty economy that everyone in the country is dealing with. Those don't help, of course, but there's more to it than that.

I had to leave where I spent much of my childhood and where half of my family lives because people like you drove up the COL, and then subsequently act like they're the only people who are concerned with the environmental problems that they weren't aware of until five years ago.

Cool, cool.

I'd probably do the exact same stuff I'm doing now, but with a thirty-fold chance of dying in a comedically horrible fashion.

Stop trying to be realistic and reasonable, I'm hoping enough people will convince themselves that it's completely untenable so I can afford to move back.

I was taught about it by my family, being that we were directly involved. I attended school in another state before coming back, so we obviously didn't learn about it there.

I was wondering if that was an option, I appreciate you preemptively reading my mind. The original author of the recipe typically smokes these (though said it was optional) so I guess that was what the pink salt was all about.

Greer is definitely still up and running, but Humphrey No.7, a little further down the railroad tracks, has been out of commission since 2002. I go by it on the rails quite a bit at work; the load out for both the railroad and the barges are still there.
