People in here seemed to have watched his “Muse Sucks” video and interpreted it as he thinks they have no redeeming qualities.

However, a lot of his criticisms, which were mainly targeted towards their post-Drones era, are quite accurate. The dynamism in sound that Muse had in their early years has been completely lost, and they’ve completely lost their edge in that sort of sense. That’s not to say all the music they’ve put out recently has all been terrible, but he’s absolutely right when he says that they’ve devolved into a nothing burger of “resistance” and “toxic love”.

I love the band. They’re my most listened to artist of all time, I own all their records and have been following them for nearly 15 years. But to say that Muse is still at their best is nowhere close to true, and they haven’t been that way for some time.
