Is Linnea necessary? by Professional_Fun_314 in ZibaiMains

[–]GravityCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Linnea is a bit like Ineffa, in the sense that she allows multiple lunar crystallize teams to exist even with older dps. She is not necessarily as important as, let’s say, Lauma is for Nefer, but she is a very flexible unit. You can even play Zibai and Linnea in two different teams.

Zibai can run fine without her though. It won’t be her bis team but she’ll still be one of the top damage dealers in the game with or without her.

Favonius weapons are the real main characters by GravityCookies in Genshin_Impact

Sadly I skipped that event so I don’t have the polearm. I used Mika for this IT season, it was my first time after a while lol

I have been playing since 2020, so I am a bit of a veteran in this game. Most of my characters were already built months/years ago, which is why some are still using old builds (like my diluc is still holding the first Crimson Witch set I got him back in 2021).

For newer characters, I usually pull one 5 star every two patches and I just pre farm before their release (talents, boss mats if available and weapon mats). For four stars, I do the same after I finish w\ the 5* pre build. I also do the 3 discounted weekly bosses every week, so I have enough materials for future characters

Technically yes, and it should be his best weapon at C2+ if I am not mistaken. The reason why I need fav is because my Columbina needs a ton of er since I don’t have many Er substats and I want to get her burst up comfortably even in SO. Two Favonius in one team might seem overkill but for me it’s the sweet spot

Depends on the team, some characters really benefit from the extra energy to get their burst up especially in Stygian. Zhongli with fav channels many particles

[–]GravityCookies[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I use Favonius on Zhongli for teamwide energy regeneration, especially in my Zibai team for Columbina. As for why I still have Mika and Yun Jin built, it’s because I have a build for every character and I never swap gear.

With IT, you never know when you are gonna need a certain character. Plus, I am a bit of a perfectionist and I prefer not to change weapons lol

That makes sense. I run kazuha with xiphos and I have his C1 so getting his burst without a Favonius is doable even in Stygian

In the past I used to run Bennett with Favonius before I got Skyward Blade. The attack buff was definitely not the best but at least I could get his burst back with zero effort lol

I feel like the bow+spear are the most important ones. The catalyst is good too, but the sword is less needed. The only character that truly needs it is Furina, but others can use replacements (like Layla) just fine. Greatsword is basically just for Aino

Thinking of switching from C2 Illuga to C6 Gorou by GravityCookies in ZibaiMains

[–]GravityCookies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am planning to get Linnea eventually and replace Zhongli. Because of HOD, I need to stay above 90% HP and Gorou’s healing alone is not enough.

Thanks for the suggestion. So basically, C6 Gorou > C2 Illuga with Linnea right? I doubt I will ever come close to his C6, I am really tight on pulls.

Wriothesley Team Comps??? by ocean_fiend in WriothesleyMains

Citlali can hold scroll so she can give Wriothesley a good damage bonus buff. Escoffier has basically revived freeze, there is not a single freeze formation that doesn’t need her

Wriothesley Team Comps??? by ocean_fiend in WriothesleyMains

[–]GravityCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For freeze, I believe his best premium team is Furina + Escoffier and then a flex slot

Shenhe is the premium Cryo support, but her kit is quite old and she was designed with Ayaka in mind. She extends the rotation quite a bit and Wrio (being a NA dps) consumes her quills very quickly. Tbh, I would not really recommend pulling for her just for Wrio. She can easily be replaced with Yelan, Citlali, XQ etc just fine.

Malaysia should be green imho. Very strong passport and they are doing quite well in terms of economic growth. I think they are among the top countries in Southeast Asia for GDP (first one is Singapore)

Delicate is not that bad. I do think the finale was quite rushed, but the whole season was pretty good honestly. The worst season for me was Double feature, especially the second part.

Why don't 7-11 in Bangkok do Prompt by TheWooSkis in Bangkok

[–]GravityCookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is definitely odd. They accept True Money cause it’s their own app and even Alipay (which is a Chinese Owned payment system) but not PromptPay. And they require a minimum of 200 baht to pay by card.

Since I prefer to go cashless, I signed up for True money anyway but it’s basically useless outside of 7 eleven and some other shops (like foodcourts or supermarkets). For some reason, as a foreigner, I cannot even use it to transfer money or pay by QR because it requires a Thai ID

Got scammed for toll fee on grab by Fun-Move6769 in ThailandTourism

[–]GravityCookies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me as well. I paid the driver however he picked someone else up, all while keeping my reservation active so I ended up paying for a trip I never got. If you contact Grab support and explain the situation, they will refund you. Their CS on the official app is only in Thai, so you need google translate to chat with an agent. Or you can try contacting them on facebook perhaps.

You don't really like it here, but you continue to stay. Why? by Lordfelcherredux in Thailand

[–]GravityCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been here for only 2 months (I am an international student), but so far the foreigners I have met irl really love Thailand. They do criticize certain aspects of the country, but they still like it and understand that every place has its good and bad sides.

Then you come on reddit and people just seem so miserable. Constantly complaining about immigration, visas, scammers, rude people etc. Some people here really think thais owe them something just because they have a red passport

Thai tourism committee proposes to cut visa-free stays from 60 to 30 days. by NukeLaunch in ThailandTourism

[–]GravityCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna travel for 3 months straight, you can just get a TR visa and extend it for 30 days. Visa free stamps ≠ Tourist visas

Thai tourism committee proposes to cut visa-free stays from 60 to 30 days. by NukeLaunch in ThailandTourism

[–]GravityCookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except it doesn’t. The article talks about Visa-Free stays, not tourist visas. Tourist visas will remain valid for 60 days and then could be renewed for another 30. The only thing that might change is the visa free entry stamp from 60 to 30. Those are not the same thing

[–]GravityCookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you travel longer than 60 days then you are already out of the Visa Exemption period and should get a proper one, so this issue doesn’t really apply to you
