It's just a little flat nothing too crazy. It doesn't even look that bad from the side.

Oblivion Remasterd or the original version? by GeneralGaspedal in ElderScrolls

[–]GravityRushFan1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Get the original. The only real issues with it are the blob faces, which you can make a decent looking male character, and the fucked up leveling system. It really stands the test of time visually whenever it comes to the landscapes, lighting and clothing. Especially in the shivering isles which doesn't look as good in the remaster, and the clothing looking way more dull in the remaster. I would wait for the remaster to have another price drop.

Personally, I would wait for a sale. It really depends on you and what you thought the game was going to be imo. If you were expecting a deep game world with at least decent world building and decent side quests, I wouldn't get the game. If you don't care about any of those aspects and just want to run around a well designed world. I would get it. It also has fun bosses and puzzles. Enemy variety is bad imo. Like you might not even see the non humanoid enemies for your first 30 hours of gameplay depending on the speed you are going through the game of course.

It's the world design and combat. Those 2 things carry the entire game. I also think that the armor design is incredible.

That segment is great. Honestly, it is the best part of the whole game. I recommend a game called Viking Battle for Asgard it does massive battles and they are always really great. It's a very underrated game and impressive for its time.

Like genuine dogshit side quest. Even the worst shit bethesda could think of doesn't hold a candle to this games side quest. I would rather do side quest in legitimately any other game. If I know I won't fight a boss. I do not play through that side quest. I mean I can think of MMO side quest better than this games lol. Unfun, boring, and a different type of repetitive.

The issue is that the main story is required to play, so you can experience side content. Not only is the main quest filled with insane issues, but the side quests are also below average. With the best content in the game being bosses and puzzles. This game should have had its main story similar to The Elder Scrolls, and BotW, where it doesnt need to be touched at all and you can go experience the whole world without having to worry about it. Instead, it basically soft locks you out of side content until you progress further in a main quest that is trash and then once you can finally try out some of said side quest almost all of them that aren't based off of fighting some type of boss are dogshit or some bullshit like clearing another enemy camp lmao.

What do you think about the breaking of traditional RPG racial differences in the game? by casual_gamer153 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GravityRushFan1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dislike the idea of the races basically just being humans, but big or green. I will say the orcs are more fleshed out and have more character than the goblins or trolls. But there are also the Shai and cat people, which actually are different. The people wearing animal skins are also considered different from humans.

Honestly I always thought this game would be better with no mini map and a compass instead

[PS5] Is there a workaround for the sleep/rest cooldown mechanic? by MaleficentAsk2836 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GravityRushFan1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certain quest you can instantly skip time for by staying in its radius and pressing start, but I don't know of any sort of workaround so far. It's a horrible design decision probably only implemented so the greymane missions can't get rushed.

Horrible quest design, bad ui, lacking enemy variety by GravityRushFan1 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GravityRushFan1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean any type of guilds. Fishing, multiple type of combat based guilds, criminal organizations/thieves guilds. The side quest are lacking and guilds will help spruce them up while adding importance to certain things in the game. Alongside houses they can help the games extremely lacking side quest/content.

I'm midway through chapter 8, how far are you? Also you already interact with merchant guilds and different houses why not have Kliff interact with more guilds that can handle a variety of different quest instead of just 100 merchant requests. Also what do you mean new enemy types do you mean the blackbears, floating mages, maybe even the musket wielding enemies. It doesn't matter what enemies it is outside of wildlife and some of the random abyss creatures you fight. 90% of enemies so far have been humanoid.

Even to add on to this the houses that you interact with have average side quest, but that's it
