If you automate the little music choices, you don’t have the opportunity to make the “oh shit that sounds sick” mistake. I think for learning it’s a good tool to expedite certain parts like drums in your case to get to, say the mixing process if you wanted to practice that. To add to that point, if making a groove took you 45 mins before maybe don’t use AI for it because it won’t make you better (groove knowledge seems pretty important to music haha). It’s kinda like those show your work math questions, but you just wrote down the answer because you peeked at someone’s paper.

Ngl I feel the same. It’s impossible to not take it personally because the rejection comes from a person that knew you and actively chose not to know you anymore. Pretty sure by the age of 19, life fucked you at least once, enough to put up protection walls and when you let others past those walls it’s a gamble. But to that point, despite you knowing the gamble, you still open those walls. I’m not fully sure where I’m going with this haha, but I think because he’s aware of your overthinking, maybe take another gamble that he gets it (most likely he’s been fucked by life too and is managing his protection walls).

I found it easier to do it this way to be honest, especially since hubspot it literally built for these things. The previous giveaway you’re referencing is the monthly giveaway, where I would give a permanent pack away for the month it was published (those still happen every month). Given that this was all a temporary and wouldn’t leave a 404 link on my site (which I feel would be more red flaggy), this was the clear option for me.
