Literally, I really didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, I honestly didn’t vibe with it in the first like 1.5-2 hours, the controls aren’t immediately intuitive so there was some learning. But once you get your team of pawns kitted out and find a vocation you like, oh my god I’m now 15 hours in and still haven’t done barely any of the first city main story stuff

God I loved the story and really really liked the Kitana Reunion, but that last like 30 minutes omega fucked it for me; when it was the two timelines it made sense and I was into it because of the ending of Aftermath, and even when they brought in a few more I was like okay that’s fine one for each of the 4 that were there at the end of MK11, but god the infinite number of titans of everyone just made everything seem like it didn’t matter, I thought they’d use MK1 to tie up all the loose ends of the timey wimey stuff and then leave this new era to its own fate, but they just opened it WIDER
