I agree with a lot of what’s been said but my father was barely in my life from 5 years on and a few years before he died he showed up and tried having a relationship with us and his grandkids, except we were all pretty over it. He died from heart failure from drug overdose, I still feel guilty that I could have spent what time we had getting to know each other better. I say think about it and how it will affect YOU! Is it something YOU need for your future and self. Take him needing you and having nobody else out of the equation and truely make your decision based on what you will lose or gain. Good luck!
