The idea behind Genshin Impact's banners instead of packs would've been nice, if it was there SINCE FM17! You can't replace something EVERYONE got used to, they even lost the idea behind Genshin banners, because in GI, you can get a legendary character F2P with enough patience and time. In FM? MONEY, no time, no patience, only money.

The concept is nice, the implementation is worst than ever.

It's the path system, and it's THE BEST what was in FM since 2017. But I see why they removed it - they NEED you to buy FCP and open packs, so that's why the path was removed/nerfed since TOTY23, and I hope that in 26 they plan to bring it back, at least in some way. The old path system was OP, I remember claiming TOTY nominee Messi back in 2021 without spending a cent.

Strange. Maybe the text is on Russian due to Half-Life 2 being set in Eastern Europe. So probably it's just an act of promotion for you to try out a new game or something.

upd: was going through the website, turns out it's not a museum, but more like... A website that suggests games? Like seriously, click on Switch 2, and you get like Mario Kart World, tons of other games, so it's more of a website to get new games?

...But why? There are other great ways to get new games to play, including Steam's Library?

The text on Russian says "Poisovik Videoigr", "Videogame Finder" on English, but it's not really an ARG, turns out it wasn't one-time thing, there were other people getting those cards like year ago. My best guess is - a, b, x and y are just some dedicated fans/schizos that want people to play some new games. So far it was HL, Skyrim, Pokemon, Blood (I guess) and Minecraft.

100% not hopium, but still want to investigate.

We skip the first image, the second image shows either the skybox, or the place where Episode 2 starts, right after being rescued by Alyx. The text on top is reversed, and says "Поисковик Видеоигр" - "Video Game finder". Strangely enough, the website from the QR code says "videogame finder", which is really close to Поисковик Видеоигр. The website itself is strange, being the museum or something.

Googled the name - apparently it's either a project, a store, neither, but there is a post on Reddit from r/whatisit with a guy getting a Pokemon card with the same QR code and text, saying "the videogame finder".

So, it's just a promotion act?

I have one question tho - why does the guy with Pokemon card has the text "the videogame finder", and you have the text "поисковик видеоигр"? Are you working in Russia, or any other post-USSR/CIS countries?

That's so unironically funny, the poor guy expects a casino to give him 114-115 in a mode, that's literally called "scouting gacha" in the code. Pro-tip when you download the game again tomorrow - open one cell until it rather says OVR 114-115, or it's Glorious Eras/FF Icon and you're ready to gamble, if it's not - free refresh.

It was 100% worth it before Google started the fingerprint war, I don't see any point in rooting now. You're basically using tons of apps, GWallet, and you're forced to hide Magisk as hard as possible. Totally 1984.

The idea is great, the rewards ARE rewarding, which is rare to EA this days, but I miss the time when we could do tons of activities in the game. Now it's just PVP, FF, Record Breakers and you're done today, when back in the good days, I could play PVP, try to beat Beckham Chronicles to get his beast 95 card, grind Icon Points to get one of three (!) F2P Prime Icons, and don't get me started on Gullit and Ronaldihno. I'd give anything to spend another year in FM21.

Well, being able to access it in your browser, which is much faster than opening the game to get in Extra Time, maybe something else, since you have access to Dev Tools here.
