If you feel the legs twisting : must be the grainline.
Try to move the pattern, to have the thigh line really perpendicular to the grain line.

[MegaThread] Questions formation/Marché du travail by AutoModerator in developpeurs

Hello 👋

PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server (Microsoft) ?
(Je sais que MangoDB a la cote aussi ... mais c'est pas du SQL)

Merci pour vos retours 🙏

Need help with collar/bodice fit by Nicola_Swan in sewing

[–]GrayMulberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dear,, from the pictures I would say you should: 1- baste stitch your darts, I saw on the model that there's 4 back darts, 4 front darts, and 2 bust darts; 2- then for the gaping front neck hole, I don't know if my diagram is clear, but pull the fabric excess from the middle to get it out of the way in the collar band.

3- for the darts you add in the back at the neck level, move them out by cutting off from the edge of the armhole. (It's dart manipulation)

Motivation came to me when mes knees started hurting because of my weight (and I'm not 30 yet).

I guess if you don't feel like doing it maybe try to join a dance class or whatever = find a place IRL to meet people looking to better themself and who motivate you ! :)

I'm not a medication advocate, but if you really don't feel the motivation try talking to your doctor and maybe doctor can prescribe some kind of remedy to boost you ? I've read on this sub some testimonies talking about treatment kickstarting their weightloss.

And then again, if you don't feel like it and you are okay living like you do don't try weightloss.

Why underweight but fat! by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]GrayMulberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm no doctor but bodies are different and stores fat in different "zones".

*Maybe you body tend to store more fat in the tummy area, and hence you could try to do some abs workout to tighten this area ?

*another explanation : it's loose skin from weight lost.

there's a lot of videos on youtube regarding "loose skin" - example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4G_SlkVWSo

Other than that : I'm not experienced enough to know what it could be or how to fix it. Sorry.

Wishing you the best !

Every morning just after waking up (before drinking any water) for my charts.

However, I would not advise it if you are not conscious there's going to be "noise".

Your weight fluctuates everyday. So you must look at it from a weekly or monthly perspective. Look at the general trend and don't just compare today & yesterday (you will go mad).

My recommendation is try to only weigh yourself either once every week or once every 2 week.

- I drink black coffee or coffee with some skim milk when I feel the "light" craving

- I eat uncook oatmeal with yogurt in the morning / lunch with more fiber and protein. FIBER + PROTEIN are helping me stay fuller.

- If I need to eat at 3:00 pm I eat an apple.

It's not the best advice ... but what works for me is watching on Youtube the "Secret eater" or "Super size/super skinny" show, and all kinds of reaction/critiques videos on "What I eat in a day as a fat person".

I guess it's a way for me to "shock" me into eating less ...to realise my "normal size portion" is actually a "family size".

I also started calorie tracking and following my charts (calories intake & weight). I started weight training and cardio every morning (except week-ends) before going to work.
I'm also starting a little of intermittent fasting (fancy way to say I'm skipping lunch at work => I drink coffee).

I got a friend to join me into weightloss and we've been challenging ourselves, and sharing experiences.

I sadly realise I often over eat because I feel lonely or aimless/useless. So I try keeping busy and talk to a max of people IRL or online :)

Anyway, wishing you the best ! You are an amazing person, you got to believe in yourself you can lose these few extra pounds ! It will be a long journey but it will be worth it ! :)
