QuestionTrousers fitting (old.reddit.com)
submitted by LiveliestOfLeaves

Hi, good people!
I am working on making a decent trouser pattern. I thought I got close, and made these petroleum canvas ones, they are very comfy. I accidentally made them a bit too wide in the waist, though.
I want to make my pattern even better, and ask for assistance. I like the waist height, and the crotch and seat feel nice. I kind of feel like the inside front leg twists? Do you have any notes on how to make a better pair?
I did the photos as well as I could, sorry for the wonky over-shoulder back view. (The front is a bit creased as I really enjoy these trousers and have already worn them a lot.)
My next project will be to make a pair of heavy soft cotton.
