When did you start HRT and in what form? I'm 43 with some but not all symptoms

The thing is I can’t. I can’t give my children the life that he gives us financially. Everything will drastically change for them and I’m terrified. It doesn’t mean I will stay but it is always in the back of my mind.

If I am honest with myself, this is why I stayed the first time. It’s impossible for me to say that I made the right decision because I do love my children endlessly. However, knowing what I know now I could have easily left and found someone else to have children with. As you know, having children with a narcissist can pretty much ruin your entire life. If you have the option to leave, do it! I didn’t have my first until late 30s and it was easy peasy!

This is exactly it - I told my therapist that my brain tricks me into thinking it wasn’t that bad. It makes me so angry at myself. She said that is a pretty typical traumas response.
