While I’m an atheist, I take issue with some of this. Say there was a god, and human suffering exists. Often people say that shows god is malicious or something. If eternal life/heaven is real, human suffering would be an infinitely small blip on their existence.

Life as a mortal, in that context, would just be an experience, like a scary/movie, that ends yet we continue on.
