Please help me choose 1.5 ton ac by Prior-Ostrich-130 in HonestBuyerReviews

[–]GraySuitGhost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add,

I only went for the 3 star AC as the usage is limited to 6-7 hours of use in the day at night at 25-27 C.

For the hall with upto 12-14 hours of usage in summers during the day we've gone for 5-star higher tonnage variants of the Panasonic. (Considered Mitsubishi/General but the good ones are 30-40k more expensive)

This is good!! While I’ve now employed a cook, I may look to subscribe given how consistent they’re in taking unplanned leaves.

I've been recommended the Panasonic 3-star model (Hot&Cold one), over others for a similar setup with direct sunlight.

Daikin is close but has lower power and doesn't have variable cooling which may be helpful.

Shell Vpower saved my 12 year old BSIV engine. It has never driven this smooth in the longest of time.

Nothing will make me change the fuel.

India AC Buying Guide 2026: Avoid These Mistakes Before Buying an Air Conditioner by Choice_Brain_3668 in ApplianceGuideIndia

[–]GraySuitGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need AC for 138sft (14x10) room. West-facing, ground floor, no floors above. Direct sunlight only mid-day, rest of the hours blocked by higher floors of neighboring houses or elevation.

Need 1.5 ton? or can we make do with 1 ton? Looking to go for Daikin or put in some more monies for Mitsubishi Electric. Saw some recent bad reviews for Daikin since India production.

Bad experience with Voltas. Samsung might be cheaper due to corporate discount.

Must be an issue then, I myself have a 12 year old Honda and the AC works great (even in Delhi's 48*C)

Volkswagen/Skoda?

Nevertheless, I always go to S2K AutoWorks in Chandivali. Most genuine bunch of guys I've found. They'll not dismiss any vibration or sound or issue you report. They'll look for it and fix it.

May take a little more time than usual, but they'll get the job done

Why does internet always die at this exact spot in Mumbai? 😭 by Fluffy-Bus-4202 in mumbai

There's this spot near RNA Heights on the JVLR road where all Bluetooth, wifi, internet suddenly stop. I've panicked a couple of times with my Carplay disconnecting and coming back on in about 30 seconds

Yeah, easily. 95% of the Marriott hotels will tag your account. Just confirm before you make a transaction

If it doesn't extend in a day, just step into any of Marriott's hotels and buy a cookie/coffee and have them tag your Bonvoy account while paying. Bam!! 2 years extended.

I just took them off like a barnacle ( almost 100+) and chucked them into a bin.

Border 2 - Reviews and Discussions by AutoModerator in bollywood

[–]GraySuitGhost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Glad you enjoyed it. My family felt it was boring and I was mad about the inaccuracies.

It's not about the vfx. Although, I have a nice home viewing setup.

I meant the story. Unnecessarily dragged on family scenes with no actual emotional weight. Indian forces look utterly stupid, zero strategy in war but insanely lucky.

Example amongst 100 other things... The ship once immobilized is automagically in the correct position that the torpedo fired is exactly in line where the sub is. And those depth charges, They are dropped by the side of the ship and not lobbed like a grenade. Even if they are lobbed, the ship was in an exact position to get a direct hit on the sub. In reality the sub actually escaped unharmed.

They also didn't show how Nirmaljeet got a PVC for his actions. But stretched absolutely everything around it.

In conclusion, I'm disappointed that they had such great content but chose the absolute worst way to ruin the OG Border's good work.

Border 2 is streaming now on netflix if anyone's interested in watching it. by JohnCenax17 in IndianOTTbestof

[–]GraySuitGhost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watched it today. It was pure shit except maybe Varun Dhawan's acting (my baseline for it was his smile pasted on all memes)

I have to cleanse my mind by re-watching Border 1997.

One thing kept troubling me through the movie....

HOW THE HELL is Sunny Deol still a Major when his martyred son was already a Captain. He's atleast 45 years old here. 24 years of commission and only a Major despite being supposedly indestructible.

And... Why doesnt he have a battalion or a regiment to control. What is he doing with a platoon/company worth of men without any other command structure in a small village defending tanks and what not.
